  1. Thanks for watching! There's a lot of info and bike recommendations in this video, and I'm sure I didn't cover it all. Feel free to comment with the e-bikes you love and some buying advice you found very helpful.

  2. I remember in the late 70s, we had a dynamo. Is anyone using this technology to recharge the battery?

  3. how long do the batteries last and what are the pricing on replacement?

  4. Calling them a Ebike is a misnomer. They should be called a Ecycle.or a Emoped.

Ebikes with LifeSo4 batteries should never be charged below 40F. Doing it just once can kill the battery. Yeah many lithium battery packs can be charged at temperatures a bit lower but 40F is a safer number. Many larger LifeSo4 batteries designed for solar and EV cars have low temperature cut off sensors to protect them along with high temperature cut offs. Most ebike batteries do not have this protection. Cheers!

  5. I thought I would be using throttle only a lot. I was wrong. I almost always peddle. It's just more fun.

  6. WOLFKING GT PRO FTW!

  7. My boy knows his shi…

  8. Hi Logan – I know this was posted 10 months ago, but I was wondering when will you be doing your 2023 Review for Electric Bikes?

  9. great information. thank you so much!

  10. It makes no difference what bike you buy the biggest problem out there is they import that model for a short period of time until it no longer sells very well and they move on to something else and they leave those customers stranded after investing thousands of dollars into a bike they like that now they can’t get parts for or replacement battery’s for.
I have had ebikes for over ten years and because of what I see in the market place nowadays I will never buy from a store and pay there inflated prices only to find out a few years later they don’t service that model bike they sold. I will only buy direct and save big money and put the saving’s towards the next ebike. Screw the stores and screw the middle man. Have a great day 😊.

  11. Thanks for the upload. what a great visual content. You can read more about E-bikes on lithdrives

  12. my perfect e-bike? a yamaha zuma 125. itll do 55 all day, 80mpg, 1 gal tank. insurance and registration total $200/yr

  13. I need a ebike thats gonna be a workhorse, I'll be doing door dash, uber eats with it in urban downtown Toronto. which one do you recommend?

  14. Great bike, great price

  15. I live in southern Ohio , I weight 280 and need help choosing what is right for me . short trips and visits over 10 miles .

You shouldn't wear a thousand helmet while riding an ebike, they're not really safe for that. Instead get a xnito or bern

  16. While interesting, I'd almost be more interested in something in a crossover category. Something that will safety cruise at 45 mph. While it seems like you might be able to modify a center hub bike to do this, I don't know if I could trust the tires to get adequate traction in the corners. I'm a motorcycle rider, but would love to find something that I could tool around on, as well as safely commute to work. The road to work is narrow and hilly. If you can't hold 45 mph, you will likely get hit by a car who won't see you up over a hill or around a corner.

  17. Great review but I’d like to know a couple of technicals details:
    * Who make the battery? Panasonic, LG or unknown Chinese?

    * Mechanical or Hydraulic brakes? These bikes are heavy!

    * Motor manufacturer? Bosch or unknown Chinese?

    This will help immensely. Thanks.

  18. Thanks for the info! When you said “with my own money” reminded me when I was growing up and had a summer job then bought something with my own money. lol

  19. Hi, why are you keep hiding the Electric* Bike pricing? Because your are reporting on the Ebike just give the price. Maybe it's it not the Bonb💣

  20. I am retired and use my ebike for getting grocery and misc. I drive in the city and , my bike is the Rad Runner Plus and for the most part works great but the seat is super hard and I with it had full suspension so for now I replace the seat and seat post (suspension) the ride is much better but I wish the bike would go a little faster that 20mph for longer trips

  21. That was an excellent presentation in a broad based sense. I'm sure it answered a lot of questions for the "average" buyer. The problem is that there's almost nothing average about me. I'm 66 years old, stand 6' 6" and weigh in at a svelte weight of 375 +/-. I need a big and tall man's bike. In fact, I need a big and tall man's everything. I would likely need the power of that bike with all the extra storage places just to haul me around. Another factor that I'm considering is the ability of the bike to have wheel resistance indoor pedaling capability. If not, I suppose that would be easy to fabricate by making stands to hold the rear wheel off the ground and adding resistance to the pedals. In any case, I'm guessing I'm not alone in this big and tall quest. It would be great for me if you made a video for us large folk! Cheers

  22. I want one for mostly urban jaunts but maybe some off-road riding that can be customized to outrageous levels. (I.E. neon signs, train horns, cargo, cell phone cradle and guided missiles.)

  23. 👍Review

EBR is a great site. Court (?) is very thorough and knowledgeable. He is a natural at explaining features on the bicycles both pros and cons. He will tell you if he "appreciates" certain features and if not, why. He a great speaker; very smooth and prepared.

  24. Come to complete stop at stop signs. Instead of taking your electric motorcycle on the open road, you can cruise the open intersections in town.

  25. I'm 5 3 and a half? Severe back problems. What would be a good fit for me?

  26. Good job, very well done and informative!! Thanks 🙂

  27. Thank you for this fantastic vid. I am a shortish woman – 5'3" who needs an ebike to go through snow – groceries etc – no car – and also to transport to the beach my big baby – Golden Doodole of about 85lbs. Any suggestions for this? I would obviously need a trailer or something as well so enough power for that… I'd appreciate any suggestions 🙂 Thank you everyone!

  28. I like the way you present with comparing benchmark figures, technology, features and personal needs. No single product is best for everyone. It depends on individual's need

  29. The cold does not damage or effect the batteries. The heat will cause more impact on them. I work in a warehouse full of automotive, commercial, atv/motorcycle and heavier batteries for bigger trucks.

  30. I bought the BPM Imports F15 and like it as a foundation for upgrading parts. Here is my experience, the kick stand broke no support for new one even in warranty.  The throttle sticks on or off in full power mode.  Battery shakes loose and broke bottom post after a week of light gravel riding. It's now glued together and bungied on so it don't bang around. Front tire flat on arrival no support for new tube. If you plan on riding near ocean or salty air, expect rust on most bolts and screws. If you don't mind these issues I recommend BPMIMPORTS.

  31. 2 much chat byee 💋.

  32. Really Nice video! Thanks , I came across your video on lithdrives, really helpful blog. Thank you all☺

  33. Mid drive motors are BAD. Video is not speaking about that. Stopped watching at that moment. Downvote for misleading info.

  34. I dont like bicycle seats at all. Have you looked at the banana style like Zugo for example?

  35. Have u checked out the Rad Rover 6+?

  36. Was he wearing a mask while riding his bike all by himself? 🤦🏼‍♂

  37. Yeah since highways and high speed arterial roads are EVERYWHERE, and there's basically no infrastructure for bicycles and pedestrians in these areas (plus restrictions on motorized/electric vehicles on sidewalks if they're there)… it doesn't really replace a car. Plus, the odds it'll get stolen: super high.

  38. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is EXACTLY the information I've been searching for as I'm educating myself before buying my first e-bike. A sincere THANK YOU for sharing your thoughts and information!

  39. What are your thoughts on the Pedego Element?

  40. If you live in Merica, you can’t live without a car! Glad I don’t live there…

  41. Thank you so much for sharing your video. I've learned a lot and I feel like I can confidently ask the proper questions to seek the right bike for me.

  42. The Van moof S3 doesn't have shocks, is underpowered and doesn't come with a rack. Not a great commuter bike overall. It's also expensive.

  43. Thank you so much! This was the best video on ebikes I have seen yet.
