I thought were going for full screen no notch or punch hole cell phone? Now Apple has this big black bar and people are celebrating….Its basically a Touch Bar on an iPhone which the MacBook discontinued

Just purchased my iPhone 14 yesterday and upgrading from my XS. I’m low key regretting not getting the pro but my trade in paid for the 14 completely. Still may change my mind though, not sure yet.
So from the event it’s better go with pro model bcs u getting better chip with longer support. iPhone 14/14 plus is basically worthless bcs u have a dated chip inside of them. U will loose 2-3 extra years of support.
That island thing is intruding the entire top screen. No Sim tray means that you may not roam in other countries. I think samsung won this round
MAJOR FAIL to put an oddball port from 2012 on a 2022 product, rather than use standard USB-C! No interest in iPhones until this is fixed.
The Notch doesn't expand. It extends the cut out appearance. Nothing can be displayed in the Notch area. It's only around the eye sore. Gimmicks are gonna get ya.

I m currently using iPhone 12 Pro and thinking of upgrading to iPhone 14 pro because of its 48 MP camera sensor and seamless dynamic island feature😍
Good to see the use of esim only, this should hopefully make it harder if not impossible to use in the case of theft. Make it only changeable if the old sim is first deactivated by the original owner & linked through an apple account that should also require proof of identity to set up.

Apple make it next to impossible to upgrade many of their products. Simply being able to replace a battery, ssd or ram is a big no no for apple. They lie about caring about the environment. In reality it's about maxing out profits.

These fone companies are creating so much e-waste. All the many lines leading up to their Pro Max and or Ultra flagship. Why don't they just make a pro and a max or ultra in the case of Anroid.
