Today we took DJI Transmission for a spin, it’s a video transmission system designed for film and television shooting, and it works quite well.

Delta Heritage park? You guys are so Canadian 🇨🇦
uno de los mejores videos que vi este año saludos chicos desde san luis argentina ….muy buen video yo tambien trabajo en video profesional
I'm honestly thinking to mount this on a drone XD with a rs3 on a 8 propeller drone paired with fx3
U Canadians and Ur gas prices lol. UK a gallon is just over 11 cad and our electricity is .51cad per kwh. 🤣
but yet we got video from the mood in real time with just slight delay back in the 60s, hmmmmmmmm
Bit of tinkering and this could become highly illegal
thank you very much but we will be having 5g internet in major cities at end of this year and all over india in next 2 years probably so we dont need this now
those antennae are the same that are on their dji FPV units, which get similar transmission distances
Anyone know what pc case that is?
These drones kills people in battlefield.

The large what wall!?
Nothing from DJI ever feels cheap. Even their 249g drones feel quality as heck. Love their products.
Amazing
I may have to regret that in the future the United States may prohibit the sale of DJI in the United States. Like other Chinese brands
1:20 300 meters up in teh air? how about having a full blown radio studio in a hot air balloon Here is the behind the scenes with subtitles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLqMPe970Ms
8 camera's PTZ all audio and a system that runs on 4G and dual 4K transmission links. It was a hell of a project
The way I see it a little weight to something does help it feel like better quality. I was in a store selling Dell PCs among other well known brands and I lifted up the mouse it was astonishing how cheap it felt. It would be interesting to hear how many people who buy those buy a separate keyboard and mouse and never really unpack the ones that it came with. Then there is the Dell problem of proprietary motherboards and cases. Even a long time ago I saw the proprietary stuff happening and I am glad it didn't ruin building my own PC. I like building my own because it is cheaper as long as the scalpers stay away from the parts I need 💢
Number plate is not bleared
does it work with my dji mini se? if it does then can i have it please?
Hi, thank you very much for your video. Do you know if I would be able to trigger my camera using just the DJI transmission, with no gimbal involved? (I am a Canon camera user). Thank you very much
Great Price but more of a showoff for freelancers when shooting inside. For a really good wireless connection choose DWARF from Austria.
Next video, Linus will install a small nuclear generation station to power all those toys
do they not realize their mini 2 can do all this and is a drone for $400

he wants that camera linus 🙂
This would actually been really helpful for my work I do sewer pipe line inspections and for the guy cleaning the pipe on the other end it would be helpful for him to see what I can see
Hi Linus may I know what model are those lavalier bodypacks that you were using in this video please?
To be fair, gas prices usually in Hong Kong are $10 USD/gal during normal times lol
This is a serious warning to all considering purchasing or using the DJI Transmission for on SET and specifically drone use.
In the system's current state there is NO way to permanently disable 2.4GHZ operation. While you can manually select to choose a 5.8ghz channel (1-7), there is always the risk that someone can accidentally (a director/dp for example) change the channel to "8" which is the 2.4ghz channel (in 40mhz mode). To make things worse, the channels don't even tell you what frequency they are. This is VERY dangerous for drone users, but is also really bad for 1st AC's, gimbal ops and for wireless sound who use 2.4ghz.
This also means that on any film set you can't use the Auto frequency mode because there is a chance it may jump to channel 8 (2.4ghz) and make the 1st AC loose connection to Preston, Teradek RTs, Tilta and other 2.4ghz FIZ units.
Hopefully DJI fixes this soon. They really need an option to fully disable the 2.4ghz mode. Ideally this would be done in the Assistant 2 software (on a computer) so there is NO chance mistakes can be made on set.
Using a frequency analyzer, I found the 40mhz channels (1-8) to be centered on the following frequencies:
1: 5510
2: 5550
3: 5670
4: 5270
5: 5310
6: 5770
7: 5830
8: 2440
Dang, impressive! DJI you better give these guys all the gear and more… these guys just made you some bank! This is how you sell a product. Well done!
A phone can do that from country to country umm
Can’t a phone do that
Thank @linus for mentioning it in Kilometer, i have no idea what 20,000 feet is. @1:00
This is pretty expensive. A $500 drone from DJI can transmit 720p for over 10kms in the right conditions. This should be more around $1000-$1250.
