Another solution for rounded windows is to go into control panel and disable your graphics processor
I use explorerpatcher to give me the windows 10 taskbar and more windows 10 stuff
Gotta love how most things for de-crapifying Windows 11 or Windows 10 is just some flavour of "how do I make this more like it was back in Windows 7?" Microsoft really peaked with Windows 7.
It's not a tweak but I use "everything" from voidtools all the time for any kind of file search in my pc. It's amazingly fast and useful. Also I use monitorian to manage my multi monitor brightness levels with a single keybinding.

I like the New Tab in Explorer. But what I really hate is in the Download folder in how it sorts the files inside is ridicules!!! You can adjust it according when your viewing it in Explorer, but you can't when you want to open or save file …
FastPictureViewer if you work with pictures or photos, specially if you use different brands RAW, for some reason Windows thumbnail generating is really slow (some RAW doesn't even have support in Windows, like Samsung RAW) and it gets worse with every Windows versions, sometimes opening a folder with tens or hundreds of pictures takes forever. Forget even about resizing the thumbnail. With this app the thumbnails generate ultra fast, the folder doesn't freeze anymore while it's generating thumbnails. Is a paid app though, but definitely worth the money, it works with any version of Windows from what I experienced.
These are great tweaks, but what about the most important one "Privacy"?

How would you set Live Tiles Anywhere up on the desktop for Windows 11? Tried adding them to my desktop but I just see a small icon.
The best Windows 11 tweak I found was installing Fedora Workstation.
I'm not too fond of windows 11 because it keeps lagging……which I never seen before in windows 10……so I am gonna keep using windows 10

When Windows 8 came out I started using a tip to just make a taskbar shortcut to a folder where I keep shortcuts to my most used programs. I was a big time Start Menu user up to 7 but gave up on it. Oddly, you have to pin a random program from the start menu to the taskbar then edit it to point to a folder. You can't drag anything to the taskbar anymore without a hack.
1:25 even when enabling that option to do that in startallback, the window doesnt seem to go below the taskbar, how do i do that (while at the same time not making sure that my taskbar hides?
Screensaver stopped working as of 22H2, no fix available….hmmm a third Party Screensaver shell would fix, anyone know of such a piece of software?

biggest problem when using third party programs is that MS sees that they dont need to bother. specially when it really shouldn't be that hard to change it back to the way other windows versions were.
My greatest problem with windows 11 already started in 10 (and 8 actually) and that is the settings app. The animations and the loading and all the asynchronous handling of everything it does is just horrible. Most things are still possible outside of it like in control panel but searching for those through the windows search seems to have been made less likely to find control panel results. But it's not even the control panel settings that are the worst inside the settings app, it's all the things that used to get their full own application like the old sound settings for switching sound devices which was easily accessed with a right click on the taskbar sound icon (also sound mixer is in the settings now). And the disk partitioning tool that was easy and clear back in the day but now has become such a mess of steps in 11 settings. And I know all these old applications still exist, they've just made them that little bit extra annoying to find. I used to be able to just type "partition" or something and get the disk manager now I need to specifically type its exact full name to get it. Task manager not being on right click from taskbar is also just terrible.
StartAllBack seems to have broken with the latest Win 11 update…. : /
Install Linux, problem solved
Everytime windows upgrades the os there's a whole bunch of people who get stuck on the last (windows 8/8.1 being the exception lol). In 5-10 years time when we have windows 12x or some other trendy name, there will be a bunch of nerds who swear by windows 11. No hate, each to their own it is just an amusing observation.

I purchased a laptop that came with Windows 11. No matter what I do it requires me to log into my Microsoft account. No big deal since I have a business account and the laptop is for the business. Howeve, it keeps saying my username/password is incorrect. I can successfully log into the Microsoft account via the web on a different computer and I can log into Windows 10 with my microsoft account. Nonetheless, I went ahead and followed the Windows 11 prompt and changed my password. It then made me sign in using the password. When I sign in it takes me to the desktop only to auto sign off. The moment I try to sign in again, it says incorrect username/password. It is stuck on an endless loop and I can't fix it. I called my tech guy who has setup some complex accounting systems and he couldn't figure out what was going on and said I had to call support. Any ideas from anyone on here? I now have a $650 paperweight.

The biggest issue is when old stuff doesn't work anymore. I'm willing to bet there's old good games that still don't work on 10, although in my case fortunately all the ones I care enough about have been updated.

Using an AutoHotKey startup script to change the default VolUP and VolDown increment from 2 to 10 is a tweak I'd never not miss in vanilla Windows.

The mere fact that the users had to do all this cra p just to make Windows 11 makes intuitive and sensible foes to show how garbage Microsoft is. That is why I switch to Linux Mint and never regret it.

I work in IT. The headache that Windows 11 has brought to so many devices is surreal. We’re outright telling customers to not upgrade until they’re forced to by EoL. Microsoft has certainly kept it’s track record of making every other Windows iteration awful.

i do not mind update or upgraded but remove taskbar and insert "what ever crap the come up with here" is a no no. Add things sure if the put the taskbar with the option to set it back to windows 10 or xp or 95 i do not mind to try it out atleast. But forcing shit no thanks. Its like here your new car with a tractor engine have fun. Microsoft try to do this shit for so long to try to make it like a apple or andriod stuff with the shit thing called S MODUS. Wtf is that for bs nonsense. Forcing nonsense like TPM 2 and secure boot <already have on windows 10 and using it. I think i was the first one back in 2015. Still forcing this shit for people nah. Its fail i wait for 12 and hoop the learn there lessons. But iam afread not.
