Deals for Days. Big home savings are happening now.
the problems wasn't fixed because they fired the guy in charge when the sales didn't meet expectations?
now they get another guy to run the show
and
I am sure he too will be fired because the few new problems wouldn't be fixed.
Microsoft need to put the TOP DOG in charge of this product.
If you don't want to use it with the broken screw, I would be willing to take it.
The XPS webcam looks black and white
a 3.5mm fly got into my eye while i was reading the intro
the corners might be for external display functionality
idk
Wow that Zephyrus G14 pricing is brutal. My G15 with a 3070 in it was only $1800, and the 3080 version was the same price as that 3060 G14.
Now this is a review
Loved my Sony Vaio Multi-Flip Laptop which had the same hinge for the display. They even share the silly screws-under-the-rubber-feet design…
Unfortunately, I had to retire the device due to the aging CPU and low RAM capacity. Still sad about it 🤧
Just when Linus remarked how quiet it was at around 6:45 the fan of my own laptop started acting up…
That sound when he pulled (broke) the back panel off literally made me feel nauseous.
A huge reason I don't trust Surface laptops: not user serviceable in the slightest! In 2022, that's UNACCEPTABLE! Love this, though! Surprised you're so okay with this! Usually you hate non-user serviceable tech! X'D
look here people Windows 11 + all Surface devices are great thank you very much and I just love how Microsoft is working hard!!! So please be grateful for once!
which math major wrote that topology themed blurb in the intro lmao
Nope I'll never own a laptop I can't open and clean.
All these reviewers are never happy , maybe they should come out with their own products
It literally hurt my soul when you broke the Surface (yes, I too can commence in more or less cringeworty wordplay!). And I can't help thinking about what must've gone through the heads of the techs setting it up: "You know what, Brian? I'mma put this super fancy sleek m2 with a designed logo in this build JUST for you, becaaause… the customers will never ever lay eyes on it in case they want to keep using it… [insert evil plotting laughter]". I mean, sure, I bet it is a standard issue sorta thing that you can also get for other products that you actually CAN build yourself (or at least open yourself), but still. Just felt laughable somehow. 😉
Considering the price, it would have been a fair deal to go with the four visible bottom screws so that customers could at least make an SSD-change of their own. FeelsBadMan is also now renamed into FeelsSadLaptop.
5:23 "Just to demonstrate this point. We are going to run Cinabench, and it shouldn't be surprising when you have 2 prosesor with the same architecture you could literally forget to start the one with twice as many cores and it (The stronger processor) will still win.
I'd like to see a comparison the Asus Zenbook that folds.
You were warned (somewhat erroneously), don't blame them for a design you don't like when you break it.
Microsoft literally uploaded a full teardown of this device, and no one seems to note that. They're doing the right thing.
One of the major problems is that your wrist hurts on the sharp edges of the laptop. The should have rounded them.
Where is the Surface Laptop 5 review?
I'm planning to work with the surface pro 8 i7, 16gb of ram for college going for graphic design. Should i go for the studio pro instead? Or should I be fine with the 8
Why don't we have intel i3, 16/32 gb ram and a 3080ti laptop. Why every 3080ti laptop have to have high end cpu. Means cpu's are fast enough today to make any real difference in day to day task but you want a gpu to do task like solid works, deep learning training etc
PLEASE update this video title. I watched this video before buying my Surface Laptop Studio, and almost did not buy it because of the lack of repairability stated by you. I did more research, and THEY MADE A VIDEO on how to disassemble it properly.
Was it pretty late? Yes. Was it published before anyone ran out of warranty? YES (did not do the math but I think so lol).
The ending of this video makes me sick, you say that you are unbiased, but you seem to have been fooled by a darn sticker. Hiding screws in electronics has been done for decades, so either this is researched badly, or you always have your framework investment in the back of your head.
I hope nobody takes this not-sure-if-acted-or-real inadequacy of hardware understanding without a load of salt before buying a device. I for one did not, and am very happy with my Surface Laptop Studio, knowing I can replace the battery when the time comes, and upgrade the SSD if I want to.
IT STILL IS the best laptop on the market for the targetted group of people.
Also, to anyone reading: Buy used. Don't give Microsoft your money.
Good day.
Edit: paragraphing, I was scared of the enter key when initially writing.
Linus at .50 speed sounds hilariously drunk. Def. recommend.
Can you guys review the Razer Blade 17 (2022)? Seems like its been a while since you reviewed any of their products.
You can clearly hear how Linus mood changed after he opened the Backpanel. He was like "Let's just get over with it."
Non User Maintenanceable Laptop, absolute Dealbreaker. Laptops are Vacuum Cleaners, cleaning the inside is a must.
仁者见仁智者见智
Can we put linux on it 🙂 ?
its really painful to see Linus destroy beautiful laptop 🙁
14.8 M subscribers, multiplied by 888.000 dollars a year income from youtube, I guess he can brake even a Tesla
Model X!
You know he's honest since he absolutely trashed other surface products
