Schools have changed a lot since 1996. But Intel has stayed inside the curriculum. Can they be trusted to teach kids about electronics engineering and computers, or are they feeding them product placement?

I actually remember these or something like these
i got so surprised that you had to describe overhead projectors. I'm 26 and we had them all through middle school and high school (im swedish though). If you accidentally left it on with the overhead looking down on the mirror it would burn a hole through it 🙂 at uni we only use digital projectors. I've heard some teachers be super dissatisfied with that however saying they miss the overhead projector and how everything was used to be better (it burnt holes on the mirror all the time though?? it was a pain)
I was taught computers on a Mac in my elementary school from first grade on.
We were still using overhead projectors at my high school, the year after I graduated they finally changed them to digital projectors. Im only 23
In my elementry school, it was a mix of those "smart" projectors, where it was a smart screen that had a projector pointed at it and you tapped thee screen with a pen, and the overhead ones. I was born 03 si make of that what you will. In middle school, some classrooms had TVs on the wall, and others had that weird smart screen.
overhead projectors are really common thing in europe (yes EU is still in middleage) and in school plan isn´t any materials about microprocessors
We all have to be thankful to Intel they might not be the first company that invented procesors, but they lifted the standard to be able to be what today is kynda as like breathing
Hello, im 24 and the overhead projectors were still in use when I was in elementary and I think Middle school maybe, too.
My math prof in CC uses an overhead occasionally, even though she recognizes that it is kind of outdated. She literally only does this because they refuse to take the cart out of her room. She is hoping one day the bulb dies and she can finally put something else in that corner, lol. Honestly I think it’s kinda cool though, the only other time I have ever seen one used was in my 2nd grade music class, because that teacher didn’t want to copy all of the hundreds, maybe thousands of sheet music transparencies she had onto the computer. Which I guess makes some sense back when computes were still kind of new, in like, 2006…
Hey Linus – highly looking forward to MS-DOS PC-Building, emulating (VM?) and general advice videos… 🙃
My first computer with home internet was 1998. An old Compaq Persario 4712. O.o Wow I feel old……
this is our CEO BTW, was great! give this editor a raise!
Please make the DOS gaming computer 🙂
hilarious …
bla bla bla …. "one of the things we are collecting for our MS-DOS GAMING PC " …can it run crysis?
The video seems like it could be a trailer for the Cyberchase animated series. Stepping into a computer. I had an introduction to computers in like 1985. I believe it was on an Ibm with like 16 or 20 mhz.
I used to work for a school system, I saw one of those kits, may have had one given to me at one time but I didn't pay it any attention. I recognized the motherboard inside the box.
Might be able to dig one of those up, I still have some friends at the school.
8:16 ok dr,Evil
I still have an overhead projector at my school and we use it
i certainly feel like i'm in the 6th grade again
My first experience with the internet was when I was in 4th or 5th grade probably like 92 and I was so excited to be able to do pretty much nothing lol
