By applying a heat source to metal wire we can make it spring back into place. We can even make our own shapes with it using the same method.
In order to set a shape to nitinol you need to torch it up to 600 degrees C, once this is done it will always jump back into place with the proper heat.

How about a nitinol sword, turn someone's insides into an acordian, if the metal will react to 96.5 F. More use as a damn packet type system, for anchor g to icebergs.

You have to cool it very quickly too. After the heating to lock down the shape completely

HI! I did this Experiment with Nitinol Wire (1mm thickness) Astenside-Temperatur around 37 degree celsius (+/- 10) i`m quite disapointed with my results. i doesn´t let it bend easlily in the cold state. maybe too thick? Which kind of wire did you use? how thick?THX
