Linus you need to line up at least 4 foot wide ceiling with premium black velvet cloth. Also the sides . It absorbs the light and won't bounce it back to the screen . I have a dedicated home theater

After watching this video I can see why boomers hate us, so cringe, hardwares is over spec for home theater standards, way too bright , huge projector is not a plus, oh by the way "tech experts " your not Suppose to look at a projector light source! as it causes retina damage….

The new Sony “native” projector is only $1,00.00 more so Epson. Epson is retail 4,999.00 Sony is about 5,998. So Epson could have gone native without too much cost. Its not costs that is an issue its supply. Th4 4k native chips are hard to come by and Epson does not have a contract to get the 4k chips. With that said I looked in person at this projector and was blow away by the color pop and blacks. It stood up well v the Sony.
