That is our simple beginnings with mech suits right there.
It is hideous, bulky, slow, weak and primitive.
In 80 years from now though, our technology will be far superior and we will hopefully have mech suits like the one in SUCKER PUNCH which launched itself into the air and remained airborne with its thrusters while shooting down airplanes.
Imagine that thing used by Firefighters. Breaking into buildings, spraying everything with water.
