I have an outdoor compost bin, but in winter, I hate going out to it. I also have indoor grow beds, so I am getting a Lomi because I am lazy and hate the cold. 🤣 Don't judge me.
Suggestion: I think you should do a video calculating how much energy this appliance consumes and then determine if using it is really carbon-neutral.
I would like to see what happens if you use one of those settings without tablets… The idea of having to buy an expensive product with a three month subscription irks me. Just sell the damn product no strings attached.
The electricity (produced by fossil fuels) needed to run this machine outweighs any benefit it may have. Throw your scraps in the corner of your garden for next years harvest (no machine can compare with mother nature) or at the very least throw them in the dump where it desperately needs it. A dump of only plastic and metal does not make for good soil once decomposed. The dump needs every component conceivable to break down all of our essential elements evenly into healthy usable soil. Separating theses essential elements only adds to the negative human footprint.

I've had my Lomi for about a month now, running my 5th cycle on grow mode. My compost is yet to come out looking like soil. Following all guidelines as to what it accepts. Kinda confused. It looks more fibrous and a bit sticky.
Sooooooo instead of throwing compost out you turn on whats basicly low temp air fryer for about 20 hours. And that lowers a carbon footprint how much when the oil fired generators start pounding because the electrical grid has overloaded???

Don’t buy a Lomi 😡 I have been using it with care on my kitchen counter and last week all of a sudden I had a thousand tiny mites crawling all over my Lomi, the counter and across my backsplash. It was a living Halloween nightmare! I’ve done everything right when it comes to Lomi and yet it exploded with bugs. I had to toss it, what a waste of money. When I reached out to Lomi they said don’t keep food scraps in it without running it. But that would mean I’m running it multiple times a day?! How does that help my carbon footprint? I’m so disappointed…
