Please do not buy any Samsung TV. I bought this S95B at black friday. Used two weeks without problem. Then I went for a business trip for three weeks. After I got back turn the TV on, Half of the screen is green. The service channel is a nightmare. They push you around and cancel your ticket claim they can not reach you. and you have to wait for two days to call them back. I finally be able to talk to a real person and now I have to wait for two weeks for the parts. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BUY THIS TV.
This would straight up be a near perfect TV if it had Dolby Vision but Samsung seems to always refuse adding that. LG C2 for me
The Game mode image on his display is horrid. Not sure why Linus didn't pick more on this. The colours are way over saturated, calibrations is way off, not sure what is going on.
And yeah, the menu on the latest Samsung TV is a disaster. Somebody should fire asap the one who designed and approved this atrocity.
HDR+ is why I switched to LG to get vision. Barely any video comes in HDR+

Love it when a piece of technology acknowledges that it knows what you want, but that YOU must follow its procedure. It's pathetic and unfortunate that dev's aren't hit with feedback for garbage like this. You'd expect it to have been caught in testing, but they either ignored the issue, or didn't really do much testing.

I just use one of my other remotes to select input. Either the older Samsung "normal" remote, or the Spectrum cable box remote.
One of the other things that's stupid about the new Samsung remote is there's no easy way to just exit out of every menu option. You have to keep hitting the back button over and over and over again to finally just get back to no menu
Linus please look into the issue of Samsung forcing FW1420 onto televisions even when users had turned off Automatic update. I was on FW1303, had Auto update OFF and have found that my TV is now on the “broken” FW1420. No notification just updated.
Why does samsung cheat? Look at where they are now. It's because numbers and specs sell, especially to those who chase it because they don't understand it.
It's like the people who keep dissing apple because of specs. Consequently, they're the ones who tend to buy Samsung.
So maybe i'm wrong, but I saw one in the store and to me thek blacks seems more greyish in comparison to a "normal" OLED from LG and Sony. It just does not seem black to me… Can anyone help me out?
Samsung TV's are brilliant in terms of quality, price and reliability. May not be the best on the market but i swear by them because they're just great overall in my experiences
Awesome video I do like the Samsung remote, the ui did take a few extra minutes to get the hang of it.
