Can't wait for the GPD sin 4 review its looking amazing
How am i going to enjoy the handheld gaming feeling with all that keyboard
I've finally gotten my own GPD Win Max 2, and so i'm stopping by just to say, I am one of those that want a device like this!
Looks amazing, but how do you take a company seriously when they decide on Comic Sans. XD
Looks okay if you're on table top mode.
How you managed to get it to work with aorus 3080 gaming box, I have one and always getting disconnect/connect issue with WM2.
Please if anyone has the same issue and managed to solve it please reply to me
You can buy a steam deck and a great pc for the price of that machine. Total gimmick and complete waste of money.
I would absolutely love if they came out with a more budget version with a ryzen 3 or 5. For some reason it's impossible to find an 11 inch laptop with any type of ryzen processor, so a small powerful laptop like this is very appealing even without the built in controller.
After an hour or two playing, your arms are going to be tired of holding it.
I hate it tbh. It looks so uncomfortable to hold and play games and you look moronic playing it that way. Looks like you are playing games on an old portable dvd player
Too bad didn't saw this one before my purchase of a gaming laptop
This thing is pretty awesome, but it's really tough to beat the Asus X13 honestly. Somehow the Win Max 2 isn't that much lighter (2.2lbs vs 2.8lbs) and isn't actually that much smaller (8.9"x6.2"x .9" vs 11.7"x8.7"x.6"). Especially considering the X13 has a dedicated 3050Ti in addition to the 6900HS. I guess the "built in gamepad" is a thing, but that's kind of countered by the crappy trackpad. If it were just a bit lighter and thinner, I think it would be more of a slam dunk.
sorry, the name of the game at the minute 5:55?
I’m lazy, does this thing run Linux?
Has anyone tried the 1st generation, just wondering of the build construction and longevity
What i would suggest the makers do is to have those joysticks detachable as a Bluetooth controller also being able to be connected as One whole controller, that would be neat.
Price?
I put my Steam Deck up for sale on eBay yesterday. I ordered an AyaNeo 2 but for the money I'm also considering the GPD Win Max 2. I like everything about it except the controller part, I can't really know for sure if I'll be ok with the built in controller without holding it and I doubt I would get a chance. I was happy with the Steam Deck for the most part but I wanted (and purchased and returned) a cheap Windows Tablet for some Windows stuff like Wallpaper engine and Gamepass (native games) and realized I should take the money that a Steam deck and windows tablet cost and just get a Windows portable game system like the AyaNeo 2 or this GPD Win Max 2.
Now officially useless with the steam deck out
Portable pc's is the future, and the future is now my friends. The next ten years is going to be wild.
Once a single button of the gamepad dies its over 💀
Smile more Linus
I know I'm late to the game seeing this video, but I kind of want this as both a gaming device and an ultraportable GIS mapping device. It's small with some graphics muscle that can probably handle ArcGIS and a decent amount of data reasonably well but is tiny and light if you're out in the field. Also…the gamepad might make for a good map browsing tool. And you can play games with it after work. And you can do regular laptop work stuff. I know that's an even more niche use case for it – the academic who does GIS and likes to play games, but it might be a good one for that use case.
A D pad controller on the keyboard 🤣🤣🤣🤣… The impressive stats are mitigated by the fact that it looks like running android OS judging by it's Chromebook look lol still I would love to test this out
Nice. Cricket USB ports .
♥️♥️..
this is like a super 3ds. i like the closing style for screen protection
Umm I think I just buy the Nintendo switch oled but damn that is freaking awesome
Before you know it, some smart company will figure out that you don’t need the clunky, space-consuming keyboard…
Super cool!
Super expensive too😮💨
Love this , just wish it came in different colours , white or black.
I LOVED LOVED my netbook back in the day my Chromebook has taken its place something like this is best of everything
GPD is the company that I saw a lot of stuff from that got me into the idea of modern handhelds years ago. I only got one this year though, and it was a Retroid Pocket 3. Then I got a Zephyrus G14 with a 3060. But damn if the GPD Win Max 2 isn't my ideal use case….. 😭 Just can't justify that purchase.
U sold me on it within 30 seconds || Linus Marketing Tips?
It's weird tbh, it's like a 3ds but heavier
This thing cost an arm and a leg the average person is not going to spend that much money on this especially since I can find it much cheaper gaming laptop .
"Are there many of those people?" As I just my Razer 15 Advanced w/ a 2080 Super and my PS4 controller back into my backpack. Haha.
So can I hook my nreal air glasses to this?
The GPD Win Max 2 is by far the coolest PC handheld device I've seen! Blows my GPD Win Max 1 out the water! I need to get my hands on one of these!
With onboard wifi component who need that RJ45 plug?
Ah, the “is that dandruff?” hoodie! You love to see it.
Yes 🗿
Not 120 hz?
