I remember having one of these for PS1 and tbh it was a waste of money. This is a waste of money too. If it was possible to power the system using batteries sure but no it needs the power cord still meaning it's not really portable as such.

If the screen had a built in battery to power the Xbox then yeah that would be cool . I'll just pay for gamepass membership and play on my galaxy Zfold with a gamepad connected through type C and when I'm done just disconnect the gamepad and close the Xbox app and can fit in my pocket .
Yeh it's cool, but I would prefer a gaming laptop for portability. A solid 3080 with a 15inch screen would suit me better. This thing is basically a console with a screen attached to it ๐.
Before I used to carry my Xbox Series X with me wherever I go, now I carry my One S with this screen and still need a power supply to play games. No thanks, the conventional option is just much better. XScreen is meant for very few use cases.
How do you not cover how many hours of game play you got on a charge? How long with WiFi connected and with WiFi not? Good info other then that.

As soon as I get my Xbox series x instead of trading in my series s to GameStop I'm going to keep it as a portable and put it on my work desk I'm going to buy that screen and play all the indie games that are on game pass on it and leave the big AAA titles for my big 4K HDR screen in my living room

I got mines last week, I love it. One of the Best investment i ever made, i recommended the monitor If u purchase the series S.
I don't use all the other ports, just glad the screen doesn't block the memory slot…..it was important.
I have both consoles and don't regret my decision on buying both at all, but I do say u need this Screen If u buy the Series S

On one side you have fanboys constantly dunking the Series S. On the other, you have Series S owners who love the little man. I actually think this was a brilliant call by Xbox. But it's the follow-up to the Series S that's gonna be the must buy. You can tackle portable gaming from the other angle. By making a console small enough to be portable, rather than a handheld that is aiming for console quality gaming. Sell the screen as option attachment, along with battery pack options.
Way to expensive. Need to bring the price down.
