Man I'm getting old. I remember watching this guy review the Alienware M9700
for me 18 inch laptops arw absolutely dump, pointless and inadequate. why? First it is not portable(This is for what the laptops are invented) Far more weak than desktops. So what the point, to get only 1 inch bigger screen at the expense of portability. I dont see any reson to buy this.
They should've came out with the 18in model as the Area 51M R3 with a desktop cpu and desktop class gpu like they have been. I don't mind the extra weight, my R2 is in my pfp and haven't updated since

I will NEVER EVER buy form Dell again. No matter how good their laptops are. I bought 2 laptops from them and returned them them both. I returned them both within a week which is well within their 60 or 90 day return period for any reason. Over a 3 month period I kept calling them for my refund and they just kept telling me it was sent. They just transferred me from dept to department and after about 4 months finally got my money back. Then a few months later, I got calls and emails from Dell asking for their money back. HUH? Apparently they returned too much money to me which is NOT TRUE and I proved it to them, but they would not believe me. They eventually got a lawfirm involved. I had to chew out the numbskull attorney multiple times to explain how asinine Dell and their lawfirn was and they finally realized their error and gave up. Please do yourself a favor and avoid that ridiculousness and headache at all costs.
Mine is 17" from 2016… it´s oldie already… I´d get a 18" for sure
