  1. Three things are certain in life:
    – Death
    – Taxes
    – Linus nerding over Halo

  2. you are supposed to restart the game after changing certain options in the video settings. only some of them changed to ultra

  3. you got pretty bad screen tar

  4. shotgun historically is meant for face to face encounters not as a sniping tool

  5. My gtx 1060 3g can’t even load this game lol

  6. hey could you guys run this test again since the game has been out for awhile?

For those seeing this video now, the game really got more optimized, I'm running a 3060ti/5600x on 1080p ultra at 130/160fps super consistent.

  7. RELODE !!!!!!!!!

  8. Game still runs like shit. I have a 3060ti and a Ryzen 7 2700x and average 55 fps PLAYING IN FUCKING 1080p.

  9. 10:46 heatwave is garbage is what happened.

  10. This game is cpu intensive and nobodies done a review with it. It's all gpu reviews and spec sheets. My gpu runs at like 15% and cpu is completely bottlenecked. I am trying to figure out which chip i need to upgrade to to run this game sufficiently.

  11. Glad to know I'm not the only one still using the "Tab" key to switch weapons lol yeah, Halo hasn't had a good current release multiplayer on PC since combat evolved. I was also super stoked to finally return to halo after many many years. However I am running a 1070 with triple monitors and they're 75hz so I want the game to perform well enough to stay at a constant 75fps at least but on low I dip to 50 for most areas, in small rooms it can hit 75. So I was considering getting another 1070 and running SLI since ya know modern cards are A super expensive cause scalpers buying them all up and jacking prices up and B the game still isn't that optimized. I'd love to see you guys testing SLI performance IF the game really supports it. I've seen conflicting reports online as to if the game even supports SLI or not.

  12. cpu was a massive bottleneck with the 3070

  13. wow! this games optimization has gotten great already! my ol 970 gets steady 60fps lol

  14. this game is leginmently playable at 20 fps
    i knkw from experience
yes my pc is THAT low end

  15. I have a 2060 super and it runs perfectly on high.

  16. im ngl 12345, infinity really had me lmfao.

  17. How a 2060 barely run this game at 1080p??? A GTX970 was the 1080p king back then, running BF3 at 60fps smoothly.

I know that games are better visually but not 3-4x times better… Sometimes I feel that games are un optimized on purpose so the GPU market stays relevant because they know gamers will buy their "40000% better perf than last gen…"

  18. 0:00 damn my ears

  19. My guess before watching is that no matter the gpu, Halo will run under 60 fps even on performance settings

  20. Good to know I’m not the only one getting those little screen tears

  21. I'm getting the multiplayer beta tomorrow, how good are you at Fortnite?

  22. Bought the game cant afford to play it yet. 🙁
CPU AMD 1800X Graphics R9 Fury.

  23. halo tournaments are now for xbox only NO pc allowed

  24. ive been playing since day1 im on a msi trident3 with I7 9700 and an RTX2060 and am using an samsung G9 @3840*1080 ive been getting solid 120-144 fps

  25. needler been op since halo 2

  26. the name is simple Halo (6) Infinite.

You should try it using a 3400g that’s what I’m running and it works just fine at low settings. It’d be interesting to see it compared to a newer Ryzen apu and the new intel igpus

  27. I love the sprint key Linus should too
