I could have accepted most of the issues, if not for the fact that he went on twitter and called the people who made fun of him racists..
poor dude got shit because of horrible advices and corporate greed on rushing things
The original video gives me vibes from The Office where Michael Scott is making a video for his future child and he's showing how to jump-start a car, while just attaching the cables to random places. All of the confidence and none of the know-how.
EDIT: Watched the video and this guy is really cool for coming on and learning from his mistakes. Good on him! Making mistakes isn't the problem, Vox publishing the video without having it checked was the real issue.
Honestly this was awesome that Linus did a video like this. Awesome.

“Pc master race” is a toxic community. I remember when there were people actually death threatening him as if he owned the verge company and wrote the script. The internet is a toxic place as well and it ate this dude alive. Glad linus gave him a chance to revist and explain. And i wouldnt say redeem himself, because its not his fault that video flopped its The Verge’s fault. I see him as a victim honestly.
I blamed the Verge for his failure. The guy is at minimum a good sport.
glad that stefan came back to do this to i guess redeem himself. And as much as people are saying it was all verges fault, I don't completely agree, stefan himself was making stupid remarks on his twitter calling pc builders "angry nerds" and crying it was racism. So no he's not completely innocent but I do give him credit for coming back and trying to fix what the shitty company did to him.
Mad respect to both these dudes.

Literally the definition of stupid – the verge 2000 dollar pc build
After watching this video, I’ve now realized I’ve never actually seen the entire Verge video. All I’ve seen are the parts every PC YouTuber reacted to. I saw clips from this video that I had never seen before.
This is a character development i never heard, the last picture of stefan in my head was when he said some stupid things after the fall

i guarantee more people had a better understanding of building a pc after learning from the verges' mistakes 100%. theres reason why people say they learn best from their mistakes.
NEver apologized for his behavior to the controversy, even now he still deflects blame.
I honestly only really started following and watching a lot of PC/Tech YouTubers due to Stefan's Verge PR disaster. So, if one good thing had to come of it, it was definitely a boom in viewership of many people in the Tech industry.

I can't stress how happy this made me, like everyone and their mother (including myself) clowned this dude basically to his face and you literally just said "nah yt drama can be wholesome" and single handedly rescued Stefan from years of abuse.
