You could have got a 3080 or 3070ti long ago both of which offer similar or better performance than the 7900xt

@LinusTechTips Eh! those frame rates can't be right for cyberpunk 2077 at 4k RT on Ultra Preset DXR on at 35-45 fps on a 4090, I am getting 60-75 fps with a MSI 4090 Suprim liquid with the same settings and that's on a Threadripper 2990wx CPU with 16 cores disabled, which is meant to be crap for gaming, I was planning on upgrading soon and have been waiting for 7950X3D because I figured it was a bottle neck, but on seeing your results I am not so sure now, what's up with your tests, what did you do to get that fps?
I just gained interest in building a PC and my friend, who’s knowledgeable, recommended a 3080 for my 2k budget, but a person at a computer store was helping me make a build and recommended the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT Trple Fan 20GB GDDRG GPU. I’m desperately trying to understand the difference.

The energy consumption is ridiculous and the temperatures are way too high
lo and behold, the XTX is having a recall spree
AVOID AMD GPUs for blender or content creation. Besides the performance/stability being terrible compared to NVIDIA, AMD will drop support for Hardware whenever they feel like it.
AMD FineWine is mental gymnastics at best. “Let’s buy a card with half baked drivers, and pray they fix it a year down the road”

Anyone see the text of that error message? "Andrew The GPU detected a configuration…" has anyone seen that before? I couldn't find anything about "Andrew The GPU" in searches, and only came up with Nvidia GPU architects named "Andrew" (yes, Nvidia, not AMD!)
Anyone have insight on this? Just very curious!
