Amazing Products TV How to build a PC, the last guide you'll ever need!

Comments

  1. The reason why Alaska isn't part of the continental United States is because it's actually an island. Canada, as you should know, isn't real. Maps are a lie. The real Canada is a small island off the coast of South Dakota. It's entirely run by a race of lizards that are at war with a race of robotic androids (Mark Zuckerberg is one of them). They have built the birds to spy on the human race and continually collect far more data than the robots are capable of with their supposed "machine learning".
Be careful both of you, you're asking too many questions and you don't want the lizards find out. They are always watching.

  2. My local ISP isn't bad at all, never had any issues with them

[2:38:28] – I used to agree with the sentiment that games and art or media in general are luxuries and you don't need them to survive, but over time I've changed my mind on that for a few reasons.

For a lot of people, especially working class and those closer to poverty, where it's more and more difficult to find a work life balance for those who live paycheck to paycheck, gaming is one of the more affordable hobbies and experiences poorer people can have access to and genuinely have a good time with, or even socialise through games with.

Considering the state of the world where people are getting poorer, more and more people have gotten closer to gaming as a hobby, not only through online play, but through communities where they can talk about and access a medium they enjoy and can talk to each other about, whereas socialization and activities such as going out and drinking and eating out or partying is becoming more and more inaccessible to someone too busy or don't want to spend gas money going out, gaming is much more accessible.

We don't need to price the poor out of the few things they still have access to and enjoy, are poor people just supposed to survive and not have anything to enjoy? Yes, there are technically cheaper hobbies, but overall, I don't think we should be reducing access to that when it's already getting harder and harder to find a work life balance.

The poor should have access to art, entertainment, and hobbies too, pricing people out of things for the sake of a big company making more money only serves to further increase the inequality between people, and even if you were to go at the angle of survival, I would honestly add that happiness is a component to survival that is often overlooked these days also with regards to increasing mental health issues among working populations

  3. Lumberjack Liius!!

  4. Go full meme and name it Lab69

  5. No, FFVI is not the best, neither is FFVII. There is no such thing as a definitive best game in the franchise. Which one is the best will change from person to person, thus the best could be any one depending on one's subjective tastes. If the best one for you is Tactics? Completely valid. FF1? Sure. FFX? Yup. VII? XIII? XIV? Type-0? Whatever is the best for you is what's best. Another person's preferences have nothing to do with your own.

  6. Electric driver does not help building a PC. The only thing I used my electric driver on is the power supply screws.

  7. @22:30. About those grandfathered rates and plans, I'm dealing with the same thing right now with my parent's home internet and tv from Verizon Fios. The bill for the current 7575 internet plan with a now defunct HD tv and phone bundle is about $20-35 more expensive per month than upgrading to a larger tv package, phone and 300300 internet service. Infact, going from 75 up and 75 down, to over 900 up and 900+ down would only increase the monthly bill by about $20 a month. My main problem though is trying to convince my parents to make the change. Old people, am I right!?!

  8. It was painful to hear this tech enthusiast's experience with Telus. What he describes is a much better version of what I have been going through here with xfinity here in the lower 48 since December 2021. After calling them almost 2 or 3 times every month, my issue is still not resolved. It won't be long I will just entirely drop them. They are unhappy with the Exodus of people from over priced TV. Guess what cable TV providers, the days of charging customers hundreds monthly for a few channels of television ARE OVER. The future has arrived, evolve, or shoot yourselves and die, I don't care which anymore. Every time I enthusiastically yelled "NO" to their offers for television, they kept up-selling me, I was done explaining. The answer is still "NO." They keep sending me new equipment and subscription upgrades to TV packages I have already refused ad nauseum. It would be easier to deal with mafia loan sharks, you know, the ones in the movies who break your legs if you can't pay back extraordinary high interest loans really fast. They apparently think they can wear me down. They aren't getting ANY more money from me, I had all my bank accounts closed, they can't charge them anymore. That's really all you can do. There are attorneys who have uploaded kits online so you can file your own lawsuit against xfinity. But their tactiic was the same, they gave me the TV and act like they did me a kind free favor, one that cost me almost $450.00 a month. I had just filed for the U.S. federal assistance program, broadband assistance, which triggered this bizaare behavior from xfinity [Comcast].

  9. I am paying 68+taxes for 1Gbps unlimited plan from Telus. is it good or am I too overpaying?

@1:44:00 (ish) Bro that's absolutely a real thing. My sister lost a bird because her downstairs neighbors smoked like chimneys. I feel for you. I hope your birds make a full recovery!

  10. While I completely understand the desire to avoid a single score for rating products, I really hope Lab32 adopts something similar to RTings.
They do an excellent job of testing various aspects of products and providing different scores or weights to certain features depending on the use-case (e.g. work, gaming, entertainment, etc.)

  11. Regarding automatic billing: I have set it up for a couple of bills, but with my bank I can set a minimum, maximum or exact amount for the bill to be paid.
Any phone bill over amount x will ask me to review it on the ebanking/mobile banking. And I can also set electronic bills to always require a review (even for shared bills on our shared accounts).

  12. Labs 32, for the logo erase the 3. That B looks perfectly like a 3 then move the two over to the left! Name still fits LTT, and differentiates just enough from lab 22

  13. I got that call. Except things ended up being worse and more expensive. FML.

  14. My experience with DSL.

Worked flawlessly for a year, then started dropping inexplicably.
Tech shows up and wants to rewire the house. I already had a Fluke network tester there and showed him there were zero issues in the home with a tester that cost 10x what he was going to use. Told him the problem was outside and to look there. After 30+ minutes of arguing he goes up on the pole.
Finds out that they hooked someone else to my line, and when both our modems were online it was kicking one of us offline.

He only found the issue because I got to the point of being an asshole. Once he found it he was very apologetic because the tech that had hooked me up was apparently dislexic and recorded me as pair 28 instead of 82. My flawless service only lasted as long as nobody was on pair 28.

Then I moved across town and was too far away from their only node in town to get the 25mbit, and could only get 1mbit. Cable cost 2x more but gave me 60mbit so I left and have never been back. Now I'm getting 1gbit and they still only offer 1mbit to my address.

  15. Oh my God I had no idea you guys were from vancouver. Yes we've had dealings with Telus and I gave up on them I think a decade ago or so after they had bought win mobile and I was stuck with them from a decade before that when I had signed up with clarinet, and they had bought them so I think I had about 5 years with telus. But I appreciate their internet service that seems to be superior, but I've yet to commit to the fiber fiber optic thing with them

  16. bring back the indoor hoodie, I'm really sad that I don't have mine anymore

  17. Lab32 is a terrible name. Call it Luke Tech Test. And iron out those creases out of your honeycomb, ffs.

  18. Lab 34: If it exists, we have tested it!

  19. I live in Wisconsin and I have gigibit fiber from TDS. Just found out that they specifically throttle gaming traffic by a TON for no reason. I was downloading an update for MS Flight sim and it slowed down to 200 Kb/sec. Then I connected my VPN and it went up to 500+ Mb/s…
Charging me for gigibit and then giving me something over 1000 times lower than what I paid for should be illegal.

  20. Linus you’re a good guy don’t worry man

For Luke: Not sure if you have done so yet or what the specific laws in CA are, but if you tell that 3rd party studio to stop the marketing calls or you file a class action lawsuit for failing to abide by whatever solicitation laws you have. Usually gets them to shutup pretty quick.

  21. Some bosses are really shitty, those people are projecting their own bad experiences with shitty bosses on you, i cannot blame them necessarily but it is shitty you have to deal with their negativity

  22. Valheim is one of my most played games on steam. It is a feeling that you dont get anywhere else. Valheim has its style, sticks to it and it works. 10/10 fantastic game.

  23. Linus Toilet Thoughts

  24. f*ck smokers

  25. I love LTT but I fckng hate it when after I watch any video, next one will be LTT Livestream like wtf I don't even watch a single live but it keeps getting moved as next by YouTube. Fckng stupid algorithm by YouTube.

  26. I don't understand how fiber to the node is fake

  27. Alaska isn't continental because they have no land connection to the 48, Canada being a bit in the way, as well as "Alaska" including several islands in its jurisdiction as a state. Basically you can't drive there without leaving the US so it's not "the continental US"

  28. "The network is the computer."

  29. Honestly… if it's THAT bad with monitor manufacturer's blatenly lying on their spec sheets and advertising… how the hell have they not been majorly sued for it? Like Amazon got sued, FB, and more in giant class actions… don't tell me they are untouchable

  30. I dont think mine is that bad I have gigabit up and down fiber to the house for $125 flat per month. But they also give credits back to you over time because it's a coop.

  31. luke wants to throw hands with linus xD

  32. REPLACE YOUR GUYS ISP NAME WITH COMCAST AKA XFINITY DOES THE SAME CRAP, DID THE SAME CRAP, IS DOING THE SAME CRAP. LUCKILY, OUR LOCAL UTILITY COMPANY ADDED FIBER TO THEIR INFRASTRUCTURE. I NOW PAY $65 A MONTH FOR 1GIG UP AND DOWN. AND PRICING GUARANTEE IS FOR TEN YEARS. AND NO LIMIT ON DATA. LOVE IT.

  33. Telus is terrible out here on the Atlantic Coast

  34. ??? FF7 getting a remake instead of a pixel remaster is more likely evidence of it being better than FF6 because it takes way more resources for Square-Enix to remake something than do a remaster, meaning they believe that its worth the trouble to do so. Plus FFVII already has tons of different iterations and spin-offs because its so popular. Thanks for the hot-take Lie-nus!

  35. at 25:05 I thought it was a total transition to a sponsor shoutout… LOL
