I know why the n1 is in first place. Youtube loved to play this video as recomended. I usually fall asleep listening to a video on youtube and I can't tell how many times I have woken up in the middle of this video. That means I have probably slept through it too.
Ur welcome!
Here's the thing: the only reason why live streams worked here is because it's Linus Tech Tips. Most people would not be able to bring in the big bucks with live streams.
I built that $500 AMD PC in 2020 😂
I miss James
Do lowest profit. 😀
If it wasn't obvious, Linus, you need to realize most of us are BROKE. We love computers and gaming PCs but we are on the lower to middle class, so any video that has the theme of Walmart or Wish, will catch our interest.
I love LTT segways … like you love our sponsor …
Awesome video as always. The transparency at ltt is remarkable in an industry usually so tightly shut.
17:02 "Maybe we should go straight shooter on the titles".
PLEASE, Linus. For the last few years, I've been deliberately boycotting your videos that have clickbait titles, for the simple reason that if you're not willing to tell me what the video's about, then it's probably not engaging enough for me to bother watching. (I probably would have watched your "Faster internet in 30 seconds!" video if you'd actually told us it was about DNS.
OnePlus randomly screwed me out of $600 a year ago by releasing a broken update and refusing to fix it… It pains me to see them getting promoted.
im a millionaire….look at me flexing mere mortals.
Would be interested to see the totals a video makes including sponsorships and stuff. Once you start considering all the overhead LMG has, these videos are expensive to make as well.
It's funny, that their live streams did so well…because i actually hate live streams about tech content
You and the whole Team deserve every cent!
Considering there is an increasingly popular Twitter page dedicated to "decoding" LTT titles, I think going "straight-shooter" on titles would be a good idea.
everytime i fall asleep the livestreams comes on
"i love building computers" would often autoplay for me and play in full when I would fall asleep, and it would happen on multiple devices and accounts so its probably the algorithm just liking that video making it be #1
I laughed when I skipped to the end and saw that chapter name
This video just prooved that YouTube is scamming their creators.
just think:
Linus made videos and earned money. Then reacted on those to show how much they earned then made a video of it to earn more money.😂
Well deserved tho.😇
Actually I don't watch the streams (also not later when they're uploaded) cuz that's just to long for me to spend time on to be focused on this. Don't get me wrong, I listen to nearly every WAN show cuz you can listen to this in the background and can do other stuff 😉
The mechanics of business/all the subtle psychology involved makes this sort of video incredibly interesting
