Deals for Days. Big home savings are happening now.
But there are x470 boards with more then 32 lanes of pcie for instance 2x 4xpcie m.2 + 3x 16xpcie slots + 3x 1xpcie slots so x470 boards can have multiplexes or switches as well
not the nexigo sponsor. their stuff is all crap, i've returned anything I've EVER bought from them.
What the hell was that daughterboard he was stalking about?
This dosent quite apply to this video but it just hit me with the amount of laying motherboards face down at an angle, and all the 3d printers at lmg have you thought about making like a motherboard jig or something so when you put a motherboard down it would be flat to work on?
"Because I really wanna load this thing up" Proceeds to use mediocre SSDs.
I run 3 m.2 nvme drives in my desktop I refused to put anything slower
I have a Nexigo webcam that I bought on Amazon almost a year ago and it works really well. The opening sponsor spot was the first time that I had ever seen Nexigo as a sponsor.
"if you look carefully"
lmao shut up
To be completely honest about SLI, it was never mainstream or relevant, it was always a "hey look at what I have and you can't afford" epeen move on the consumer level.
remember the old LGA 775 trick with cap taping the corner pads to OC it lolol
Is Micro Centre ever considering UK stores particularly in the north of England theres a market for it theres very few tech stores and a demand for it and not everyone wants to go online for components we don't have a store not even in the closest city Leeds in West Yorkshire where we can look for components (Curry's doesn't count they don't sell gpu's they retail full pc builds that are form factors they even stopped selling mid-towers it's a nightmare I have to get everything online now meaning I can't look at the hardware in person and usually have to wait for certain components to ship) we need a computer hardware store!
I have 6 nvme drives, but just using a hyper m.2 and a b550
was amd or intel better at this point of time?
cool
nothing is a mystery. 4 weeks ago Linus got a script for this and it literally says at the top "Linus will pretend to be shipped something he doesn't know about, we can milk this over 5 videos in a series, buy our products, click our affiliates"
I have two M.2s. One for Linux system, one for Windows system
Vendor lock apparently still exists with PCs.
2:06 YOU MONSTER! D:
Yep, that is the reason why I'm using the Threadripper in Zen, Zen+, and Zen2 time as my main System.
PLX sir, I want some more lanes
I wanna apply for your company as a janitor just to learn more in computer hardware. Man i just want to learn about computer hardware.
I thought Mexico was sponsoring this video for a second there
cough 4 m.2 in my system 😆
4 way SLI the good old days
ive got my 5600x in a B450 🤣🤣
Reminds me of when I visited my friend to help him upgrade his pre-built Lenovo PC only to find his AMD CPU was using a default Intel cooler. Apparently their motherboards were manufactured for Intel then modified only just enough to use AMD instead. Thankfully the new cooler had mounting for both AMD and Intel, so we just used the Intel instructions for mounting it instead.
The Intel NIC probably just lacks the firmware, you can probably simply flash it like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXNyHFOWx_k
Poor Socket Pin 😀 02:06
May I ask why continue to try benchmarking with Halo Infinite? God awful game.
Hey I have an old Ati Radeon x1300 and I have no way of using it. I would love to see it at its performance potential. Works you be interested in testing it?
Whenever companies try to pull these consumer mind-games with their cute little marketing gimmicks and tricks like naming something to make it sound like it's one gen ahead of the competition, they lose major points in my book.
Is it me or is that Asus board a goner? Cause i see that CPU fell on one of the pins and you can see that pin is a goner.
Hmm, that Intel NIC is curious – not finding any device ID (the "DEV_1532") matching it anywhere in the Intel ("VEN_8086") device database, not even anything remotely close (usually, devices of the same type or family often, but not always, have device ID's close to, or similar to, the ID in question. See Realtek's "DEV_81xx" for instance – that's their NIC lineup. Could it be a dummy/validation/testing chip of some kind?

3 nvme drives and a 3.5" HDD here.
also, that board dump at the start… yikes!
