What vid covers the white pc in this vid

  2. I got 2 matching lg 27in leds, for like 160 each they are really good, this Sceptre looks like a good budget option though

  3. I have my eye on that Viotech, 165 hz for $120? Insanity!

  4. watching Linus play games physically hurts me.

  5. At 11:00 the Nvidia VRR over HDMI don't necessarily need HDMI 2.1, I have it in an older samsung TV. (I have no idea if this monitor is compatible though)

  6. Audio is kind of weird

  7. If high refresh rates aren't required, like in this case, but main point is in getting immersion, in other words size and cheaply, I'd rather go for TV. And as they have been long 4K and consumers change their whole TV when computer inside it sucks, which it does to begin with, you can get older ones literally for free. Unbeatable. And size does matter. Seriously there is no going back to those post stamps after playing on big screen in front of you. And no, pixels don't jump at you in games even at 1080p, althrough at desktop they do.

  8. 144hz+ 1080p monitors start at 110-150 or so bucks sometimes with sales seeing them close to 100bucks… this at 100 just kinda doesn't make sense tbh.

  9. or you can get acer vg 270 for 170$ or vg240 for 130$ 165hz ips 🙂

  10. That backpack is more than the cost of running this monitor dual

  11. I can't believe we're saying "only 1080p now" MY BROTHER IN CHRIST, 1080P IS STILL 2073600 PIXELS, HOW MANY MORE DO YOU NEED?

  12. I will never, ever, go back to a sub 140hz monitor or 1080p. Nope nope nope.

  13. I'm watching this video on a 27-inch Spectre monitor and it just works.

I bought these at the beginning of covid before the price hikes, they were like $75 back then. They worked great for the price and never gave me any problems, I gave them to a friend after I was done with online classes.

  14. I've actually been using these cheaper Sceptre monitors for a couple of years as secondary monitors on my main streaming set-up for gaming, on my more basic stream set-up when I'm drumming and even as a self monitor for certain events (like when we streamed our own little episode of Hot Ones). They are an incredible value and I definitely recommend for purposes such as these.

  15. you could overclock your monitor as well

  16. 250 dollars for a no name back pack? GTFO

  17. I dropped my LCD panel and now it happened that pixels and I couldn't buy a new one

  18. If you just want a monitor with good warranty, go to Costco

this is the second time they push for this crappy OEM using reviews on amazon (something that Linus know is not reliable measure), i suspect they are paid from the manufacturer, Samsung make cheap 24" monitor for ages that are far superior

  19. It would be worth noting that not all VA panels have the same level of motion blur. I have two different models from the same manufacturer, an AOC Q3279VWF and an AOC M2470SW, and the 24" model has significant motion blur, while the 32" model has no such issue.

  20. linus is a super genius when it comes to computer hardware and software, but he's so bad at games cause he probably doesn't game much anymore cause hes so busy planning videos and filming them and working 24/7 etc… watching him play halo is like watching my dad play halo hahahaha fake gamer jkjk just washed

  21. That’s how I watch LTT 😂

  22. It’s around 300$ in my country. Fantastic

  23. I'm watching this video on one of those! I personally had issues with the color being very very muted, near gray scale, had to turn it up

  24. Hey Linus Tech team! Just wanted to thank you for helping me build my PC I watched a lot of your build videos and I finally got some courage and did it myself! I'm very grateful for your content, God bless!

  25. I actually drove the 22” version of this as my only display for about 2 years before upgrading to the pg329q. Just fyi to the people here, 1440 isn’t enough at 32” if you have sharp eyes. I should have gone for a 27”

  26. I just watched this video on a 24" Sceptre E248W-19208A that I bought back in 2017. It was on sale for $90. Basically the same specs, except it's only 60hz. I do not game on this monitor.

  27. 4:08 – That photoshop is fucking criminal XD

  28. Did anybody else notice peaking and popping in the audio at 3:20?

Edit: it's through the whole video

  29. that mouse sensitivity triggered me so much xD

  30. Nice

  31. Interesting to review a monitor that is not top-notch but mostly purchased. Another good review would be "the best" monitor that has "enough" Hz (like 144) and is 1440p.

  32. I love how when Linus is discussing a well priced monitor for $100 he plugs the $250 backpack 😂

  33. Even the most high end VA panels like the samsung odyssey I have noticed motion blur on it's just less noticeable. There is decently priced IPS panels but not in those price ranges except for maybe 60hz.

  34. I once purchased a VA Panel with alleged "1ms MPRT" and Whatever settings I used on it with 1440p 144hz, it was just so fucking horrible in dark scenarios that I got rid of it after 3 days. I would rather have a 1ms TN Panel for Gaming with no smearing at all than a piece of VA Panel.
