I could understand creating these doomsday bunkers if you were going to populate it with engineers, doctors, farmers, scientists of every discipline, architects, infrastructure experts, general laborers, technology experts, survivalist experts, communication experts, educators, fitness and nutrition experts, a police force and a command and control structure . A bunch of spoiled millionaires that know nothing about how to survive outside their mansions or boardrooms would be detrimental to survival of the human race.

End of the world doesn't mean the war of nuclear bomb. The end of the world mean the day everyday creature (human, animal, vegetation) will disappear..no matter where you you'll hide, you will not survive.. so it is better to say a bunker to survive the nuclear war .
