Awesome Tips How does this Robot test Keyboards?
We just upgraded our keyboard testing robot (SHARC) at LTT labs to give us more comprehensive data. This means lasers!!!

If you're a robot and feel useless think of this poor bastard
Linus : starts as a tech reviewer and unboxed
2023: a tech company lmao
I've never seen that robot brand in the US before. You must have gotten a deal on it or they gave it to you.
3x speed 🗿. That's mean accuracy right?
That's the keyboard I have the full size Logitech G915 wireless
PC used self-destruct! Critical hit! It's super effective!
I have never heard so much bullshit jargon in one video before, just call it a mesh instead of a “point cloud” that’s its actual name
I see you have a keychron k8 pro will you do a review on it?
Is Luke out of a job? Or is he going to test against it?
Hey, will you be testing standalone MX switches?
But why?
It's all fun and games until someone gets a steel rod through their hand.
but why???
You guys have safety measures for that thing?
That's a very slow key press… When I worked with QA robotics the machine could test 15 keys and a scroll wheel of a remote control in something like 5 seconds, and some additional seconds to test long-press on certain keys, so a full routine took perhaps 15 secs… For endurance testing this could be repeated continuously for months.
Pointless or genius?
Pointless.
in my opinion, this is really dumb. most keyboard uses the same switches from cherry so all the measurements you get from "different" keyboards will be the same because they use the same cherry switches.

You mentioned something about Polly but you slurred right through that so I don't even know what you're talking about
I don't get it. why cant I adjust the volume or rewind?! I get the feeling youtube is not for boomers like me anymore 🙁
I assume/hope that there's going to be some sort of mount/support to go on the back of the keyboards just so that they can't/don't move at all during the testing?, like if when the keys are pressed the keyboard actually moves slightly (sometimes because of the feet but also can just be bad build quality, flexing board/plastic) which would obviously skew test results.
I really LOVE this stuff, and can't wait for a tour/run-through when the Lab is complete.
It's gonna be awesome having a place that FINALLY can and will hold companies accountable against the outlandish claims they've been getting away with for years! Stay awesome everyone.
I've got enough ads from Vention to not immediately recognize their characteristic blue aluminum extrusions.
Making money is an action. Keeping money is behavior, but “growing money is wisdom”. I found this out a week ago after getting a $10,000 return on my $3,000 investment in 7 days.
I'm not robot ☑️
The lab couldn't come any sooner. Hopefully, it's more than what they say it will be. Keep up the good work 👍
holymoly
Oh, it's in Go, neat
bro if that was genuinely 3x speed and it took like 5 seconds to press a single button something needs to be done that is way to slow
This is a great short, but I'd love to see longer content about some of the stuff that goes on with the lab
Would you mind, testing the three Generations of IBM Model M keyboards that are out there?
Why tho
but why
I'm curious how the IBM Model M in the background will stack up 🙂

Whats the engineers name?

Now put all of the keyboard 3D models on turbosquid and make a fortune.
