I literally Switched to AMD because their Stock Cooler is better. I have since upgraded to a Corsair H60 burt yeah Intel can suck a big one.

congrats to advertise another shitty product! (SignalRGB – the only(!!) soft tried so far that is unable to match the correct order of leds in 2 daisy chained phantex strips. begin with 4 on one, then continue with 15-16 on other and… it stops detecting other leds way before approaching the 120 limit). it has not a simple button for off effects. it's disturbed by almost any other software needed for mouse or fan control. and so on.
Temps are surprisingly good… but it's so annoyingly loud.
Intel coolers are so bad I normally get the cpus with a cheap wraith stealth cooler and mounting brackets.

The stock one from the west gen i7 cpus were actually really good
they might not be the best, especially the larger cooler shipping with the i9 CPU's, but lets be honest, anyone buying an i9 isn't going to be using intels stock cooler anyway xD
They could save tons of copper if they asked us if we wanted the stock coolers. I have 2 wraith prism coolers from amd. I've never used them

OpenRGB does the same thing, without the data stealing, and is open source.
But the 12900 has a 200w draw at 100% why would anyone fit a 65w cooler on it?

Think I am going to stick to AMD Stock Coolers… If I have to stick to a Stock Cooler.
I mean, these only matter for first time builders imo. Once you get an aftermarket cooler, you can use it for years before needing to get a new one. I used the same Hyper 212 EVO for a few years, an H75 for a few, and the same Arctic Freezer 240 for about six now. Those three coolers saw five CPUs between them so I’m glad I didn’t waste any really innovative coolers along the way besides the Wraith Prism? that came with my 1700.

Dear Intel, either make good stock cooler or stop providing any cooler and reduce 8-10$ price.
