  1. for 1000USD.
We get an awesome monitor but with pretty big drawbacks, ignoring price
    Text clarity
    2 year warranty?
    Burn in
Think ill either go 4k LCD or wait for updated OLED.

  2. One thing I can't find any reviewer talk about the hdmi 2.1 for ps5 or xbox. My lg ultrgear 1440p 165HZ can output 4k60 for ps5 on hdmi 2.0 and I utlize the 165HZ for pc on Dp 1.4 so does the hdmi output 4k 120hz for ps5 on hdmi 2.1?

Sounds like you have a cold! I hope my hearing is just off and you feel fine, but if you are ill, get well soon!

  3. Mine will be here tomorrow. I am prepared to have a dim, matte finished screen from all of the reviews. Got it from Best Buy as I am scared I may need to return it, but hoping for the best lol.

6:00 scared me, I thought I just got a dead pixel

  4. I was excited to see this monitor as wanted a fast refresh 240hz 1440p 27" for a while now, and this almost ticked every box. if it was £600 I would get it now , I think £999 is just too much, had it been perfect, then yes maybe would pay the extra price tag, but it has its flaws, matte finish, the brightness, and the menu's not being as easy as my current 27GP850.

  5. I'm quite confused as to why a premium 27" oled 240Hz screen has 1440p resolution.

  6. I had to return the alienware monitor because I'm really sensitive to the color fringing. Not only in text but every sharp edge is slighly off color for me.

I have an order out for this LG monitor. I'm really curious how it will hold up. I'll also experience 240hz for the first time.

  7. Fast display

  8. I just want a really good 32” IPS monitor.

    What's that game @10:17 ?

  9. Good monring, how and waht cords did you use to connect to your pC?

  10. who looks at angles i dont understand. I normally sit in front!

8:27 I think you're talking about visual snow and that's a great way of explaining it lol.

  11. Im glad we are getting OLED panels at more mainstream monitor sizes. As I'm am a budget gamer I'm gonna wait for a couple of years more untill we get 1080p OLEDs at reasonable price.

  12. i don't think this display actually have the MLA tech.

  13. 7:58 +100500% matte coating on an oled?? It is an intant no buy.
    ??! Get Qd-oled gamsung odyssey g8 or aw3423dw for 800$

    7:57 I can't believe you've done this

  14. Hello,Your voice is different?!

  15. What happen to your voice man??? 🤧

  16. how does games run at 60 fps ? does it have screen tearing?

    • Tike
    • February 17, 2023

yea the matte coating kills this for me and the alienware is 34in and keeps going down in price every so often. its a shame thou b/c I would love play valorant on a 240hz oled monitor.

  17. This is my dream game monitor!

  18. I have the Alienware and the LG! Love both

  19. 27 inch, too small. Do 55 inch and make hdmi 3.0 that can drive 4k on 240, then I will get it and a 6090ti

  20. During the 2022 BF sales I purchased a 27" LG 27GN950-B UltraGear 4k 160Hz IPS gaming monitor on sale for only $599USD. I love the vibrant colors on this 4k monitor I highly recommend it. I decided to pass on OLED because of the burn in issues (look up Alienware aw3423dw burn in).

  21. I love mat screen because any reflexions of what happen behind me are very disturbing.

  22. I had the 45GR95QE-B for a month and couldn't stand the low PPI so I ended up returning it and getting the 27" on backorder. I will say that the matte coating didn't phase me whatsoever and I found the brightness to be more than enough in my typical gaming scenarios. Going back to flat panel from the curve took a few days; the flat panel appeared fisheyed after getting used to the other display. 😅

  23. you have a dead pixel on your camera… see @6:05… There is a red pixel on the display… but it is the camera.. I believe.

  24. if only this was 4k and 144 hz and oled for the exat same price but i bet its gonna be like 2 k

  25. Dose nvidia g-sync have any effect on fps? i dont kno wshold i buy samsug g8 oled with amd prmium future or lg 27 oled with g sync….

  26. I think it needs a TotallydubbedHD review tbh 😀

  27. I agree with you here about the matte coating. When i watched other reviews I was dumbfounded by the fact they didn't choose a glossy finish to pop the colors and clarity. Genuinely stupid decision by LG imo. If this had a 250-300 nit sdr brightness with a glossy finish I'd consider it. The Alienware is still the best here imo even with the lower refresh rate. Hopefully ASUS will be the one to bring us the 27 inch OLED everyone truly wants. Nice try LG. Maybe next time.

  28. If Alienware made a non ultrawide version of their QD-OLED it would destroy this LG monitor. Just waiting on QD-OLED 4K Monitor at this rate. This LG isn't worth the £1,100 price tag with tax.

  29. 32" 4k 240hz please and thank you.

  30. dont forget you can get an OLED c2 42" for the same if not less price. only downside is 120hz instead of 240hz. It depends on the games you wanna play i guess.

  31. I have the Alienware and I've had my eye on this… thanks for the video, I think I'll stick.

Are you/will you be reviewing the larger 45" Ultrawide OLED from LG?

  32. i have a lg 1440p monitor i paid 330 i doubt this is worth 3 times the price

  33. I’ll stick with my Alienware AW3423DW meanwhile, even if this one has his own problems, I think it’s still the best widescreen on market atm.

  34. I am upgrading from the 27'' version of this monitor to a 45'' model the ultrawide I loved everything about the 27'' except it was too small

    Loving this monitor

  35. you can also use an lg oled tv magic remote to control it and I have been doing that since day 1

  36. For the first time people are complaining about matte screens on monitors. Weird…

Pre ordered from Overclockers a while ago, will update my comment once I receive the monitor.

  37. Would be better if it were a brighter QD-Oled with a glossy finish

  38. What I would like to know is what to choose. I have built my dream PC already but I cannot decide on the proper Monitor /TV I saved almost 3 thousand for what is left for this part. I saved for 8 years. This is just for Gaming and internet. Not any editing or streaming just pure play. I also don't care about overkill. I want it to last 5-10 years with no upgrades. And yes I'm running the 4090TI.

The problem is: The people who regularly spend $1000 on monitors are already all using 4K monitors. And zero of them are going to downgrade to 1440p just for OLED.

  39. need the best 4k oled 1440p eehhh
