Hey Apple…i have a suggestion… maybe get your homepod minis to work with streaming audio from your laptops before doing any more development on new speakers. You can not stream to homepod minis from a laptop without the audio cutting out every 15 seconds. Seems to be a very common complaint from what i can see online. The solutions i have been seeing require going into your router settings and turning off some setting that potentially will slow down the overall performance of your router. There are no problems streaming from an iPhone or iPad… seems limited to laptop, my brand new M1 macbook pro will not stream audio from any app using a browser (youtube, netflix, hulu) Can not even get the homepod to connect to my 2015 macbook pro.
Apple should make apple sound system or sound apple sound bar with a woofer then have integrate it with older and current sound HomePods

One thing is sure, Apple do not listen to anybody…So that Bluetooth connection will not come.
I bought a Sonos then went back and changed it for an original HomePod but after realizing I need my home wifi to be included in the set up I returned it for the Sonos.
I wonder how many people would like the added bonus of using Bluetooth…

Yes I wanted Apple to bring back the original HomePod with a cheaper prices it doesn’t need to be big like the original HomePod but much smaller but not smaller like those minis i bought 4 minis still doesn’t sound good the way I wanted also I had 2 original HomePod they still sound freaking amazing. Apple please we need music bring HomePod back soon
Whatever HomePod that may be released, I hope Apple sort out/improve Siri on it. Drives me nuts when you ask the HomePod something and it says "I'll send the results to your iPhone".

The fact that HomePod can’t use Spotify is what make it worthless, so like the rest of the previous HomePods they won’t sell as long as they integrate with Spotify which most music listeners have.
I have a pair of the Minis and they make really good speakers for my Apple TV. What I’d like to see with a full-sized HomePod is that it’s integrated better with the minis to make a true surround sound system. So, I see it this way. They price it at $200-$250 and then send a bundle of 2 Minis and 1 HomePod for $400. Another thought I had was that they could combine it with the Apple TV and make it the hub for the smart home system that also acts like a surround sound system with the minis. They could probably charge $450 for this.
