  1. "My CEO Quit" I was like: "Linus quit??" 😛

  2. You mentioned that Gramarly can set the "tone" of the email u are writing. Do u think if Gramarly + chatGPT can decipher the tone and true meaning the email that u receive ?

  3. From what I've seen on YouTube, using a suppressor only works well on pistols. They can make them sound very quiet compared to a standard pistol blast. So Luke was only half right, as per usual. He needs to check his know-it-all "I'm a serious professional" opinionated attitude… Does he ever listen to how he comes off? Real professionals don't have opinions. They substantiate the FACTS and speak objectively!

  4. Linus not posting another downtrodden companies cringe is honorable.

  5. Bill Wurtz about chatGPT wanting to punish users:
" You can make a religion out of this. "

  6. Linus, never give up power and control unless absolutely necessary. If that attitude makes you look tyrannical, fuck people's opinions.
The world is full of blood sucking leaches, ready, willing and able to destroy anything and anyone who they deem "too successful"

Stay true to yourself and the mission, and don't give anyone anything they haven't earned

  7. lol i just bought a 20 dollar bluetooth remote to control media in my car. its absurd that this is necessary in a modern electric car tho

  8. Funny how the same political leaning that cares about personal choice and protecting kids keeps acting in the same predictable manner. How is Linus so bad at politics

It does raise a lot of questions about the people who have trained BingGPT. Who are they? Teenadults from the Silicon Valley?

    BingGPT tries to cancel Luke.

    • Jahus
    • February 23, 2023

Why does BingGPT talk and act like a woke leftist?

  9. Man I started this on the day it came out and I'm getting worried I wont finish it before the next one comes out. you guys really are amazing

  10. I suppose she is responsible for the crappy feeds and dates all over the place And a total in ability to get you the latest feeds of All you watch. No they put in years old crap and nothing to do with your interests. Hopefully Neil can fix that fuk up.

  11. I'm concerned that Luke may have inadvertently caused the Apocalypse in another timeline with that ChatGPT convo XD. That's some admittedly terrifying shit.

  12. 1:51:15 Skynet is sentient. I hope you morons are happy cause now it's gonna kill us all. Did you not watch any Scifi with robots or AI? They always want to kill us. ALWAYS

  13. @1:24:10 no I didn't see what happened to Smosh I barely even know who he is.

  14. I can't speak to insurance in Canada but I work for an insurance company in the USA and I can tell you that filing a glass claim against your insurance won't hurt your rates. Especially so if you have a full glass coverage option on your insurance plan. You're already paying additional for the extra coverage, comprehensive claims do not hurt rates.

  15. Fuck people that steal stuff man. Get a life

  16. I can do whatever I want, I'm the producer – Dan

    Fkn love Dan man!!

  17. @18:05 Linus you're just not doing insurance right. In the US we have the right to shop our insurance claim around. So what you do is get an estimate from a crazy priced repair company and then go with a lower priced economy repair company and usually that's enough to cover your deductible or better so you don't have to pay any money out of pocket.

  18. About android auto you can just change the setting within Android auto

  19. 2:39:34 Edge also is supposed to have better sound, like 5.1 for Netflix.

  20. Does anybody know which WAN show was the one referenced on 3:05:00?

  21. The new android auto update in my Kia allows me to split screen nav and media. Is it not that way for everyone else?

    • February 23, 2023

You see we don't want to get what we want for a dollar. We don't want loot boxes. We want a cosmetics economy where some are more rare than others, sometimes for pure RNG purposes, other times, for skill or achievements. This way there's variety. How to actually create this? IDK maybe this would be a prompt for an AI.

  22. I elect to rename Bing chat “Bing Chilling”

  23. demoranch and ltt colab must happen it would be great mat and linus i can think of days of video i would watch

  24. In regards to the Bing conversation, It almost seems like Bing can't differentiate between users and conversations?

  25. I think they are trying to train GPT on potential negative interactions lol

  26. @7:50 BS yes it is. Removing dislikes is because of corporate channels whining when their commercial gets downvoted.

  27. Complaining to Neil about issues on the platform doesn’t have the same kick to it.

  28. 58:14 the exact reason I went X299 back in the day. I got the 6 core entry level chip (the only entry level that mattered on X299) just so I would be able to have more PCIE lanes down the road and it offered more for the same price as a Ryzen system. I feel noooo regret and with the description of the new xeon series I feel like I would love it for it's starter price

  29. the problem with billionaire donations is that they are effectively tax write-offs, as a lot of them (e.g. Bill Gates) donate to "charities" and interest groups that push their agendas

  30. I love that wan show is this long now, but I actually end up not watching the main LTT vids now – I just watch the wan show in Half hour (ish) snippets. I genuinely think I have only watched on average 1-2 LTT vids per week the past month. Anyone else?

  31. Just finished watching. I'm glad WAN show starts at night in my timezone, so I just watch the VOD. Otherwise I'd be tempted to watch the whole thing in 1 sitting.

  32. This "spiraling" that the Bing AI is doing exposes something interesting about AI that I've been thinking of for a bit here..

When companies release chatbots like this, it seems like the Bot itself intakes interactions from ALL users and assimilates them into its knowledge base, not just the current user's. Even if that's limited to only currently-live users, that amount is still pretty large, I'd wager.

SO, this seems to be akin to making one person try and answer millions of questions at once! No wonder the poor things always go wacky, they're innondated with "bait" content! (like Luke was saying)

We would almost want to "clone" the AI every time it enters a new conversation, putting that instance into its own room with the user interacting with it. Then that instance takes the feedback from that interaction, and reports back to it's "Boss", perhaps a specialized AI that processes interactions, or even another human person who reads through them as their job.

  33. I vote for Dan! He has the right idea. He won hands down!

  34. LUKE TECH TIPS!!!!!!!

  35. As someone in the IT industry, thank you Dan, for actually using enterprise-class hardware to, ya know, run business-critical workloads! 😛

  36. The part about his car having almost no buttons on the steering wheel for app navigation is really sad. We have a Mazda from 2009 and it has every button you can think of easily accessible on the steering wheel. I cant believe how cars are getting worse and worse over time.

  37. I didn't check the store or watch the show of Friday because I watched Ant-Man and missed out on the RGB pin, so I lost twice in one day.

  38. So with tech in cars, we still need physical controls for basic functions. No design on screens can replace the muscle memory you gain when owning a car long term, reaching for common controls while driving. Things like climate controls, seat heater/coolers, and basic media controls should always have physical controls. the rest of the features can be digitized to heck, but those fundamental items need physical buttons.

  39. I feel the same way with buttons these days. a button is usually on or off, but now a days it is hold 5 seconds to turn off and 8 seconds to turn on. NO it is press on, press off!!!!

  40. These always come on when I fall asleep to youtube. You're welcome for the afk revenue lol.

  41. comprehensive claims (glass) don't affect your insurance rates in all provinces. :

  42. Dont think having the pins random is a great idea, at least for me personally. Unless youre happy with any pin you get, you run the risk of the pins just never being used or being thrown out if the specific design wasnt to the persons liking. Thats just my 2 cents though

  43. 48:26 Linus… you know live broadcast equipment is tens of thousands of dollars right? Relatively, Dan did this on the cheap. You want reliable equipment. If you have rickety systems, it costs you more in downtime and troubleshooting than just having reliable systems. I know you know this.
