Nerver use a power splitter
Wrong. You have to uninstall your drivers FIRST using DDU, and then you can actually upgrade, and then install the appropriate drivers after installing the GPU. Otherwise, you will be stuck and not be able to use your PC until you reinstall your GPU and do it this way.
How about removing old drivers and installing new, probably the most important part…

Like the most easiest thing to upgrade. If people are daunted by picture diagrams that come with GPU, of how to do this then they should just get a gaming console 😂.
Might make more sense to leave the power supply plugged in and the switch off as the PC will be grounded, and I'm pretty sure Linus gave this same advice in the xqc video.
