ficking windows in all honesty if valve's Steam OS succeeds, I'd switch to it as my daily driver and use windows only for work.
Just be careful with AMD Drivers Linus, the latest 23.3.2 for 6900xt and up have AVPro encoding issues, so if your watching content with AVPro, make sure to bump them back down to 22.5.1 or 22.4.1, both thoes work for me!
Otherwise, enjoy the snot out of your new card man!
The 7900XTX is a ballar card as long as you have stable drivers for it!

LMFAOOO that amd sapphire gfx card with the female 3d model bought back so many memories. every amd card i had underperformed every nvidia card i had and always fried and overheated. since 2008 i made the switch from red to green and enjoying crisp headache free gaming for 15 years. And now AMD have starting matching Nvidia prices i see no reason to go back to red. Whilst a lot of amd fanboys may think the hardware is beefy, their drivers have always been sketchy.
And here my friends we see the biggest issue with custom loop water cooling… You want to change one thing and have 5 hours of work to do that. Or you can put GPU outside and use second PSU… It's only for a month LOL.

Ive bought a 7900xtx because RT is just a gimmick imo. And im very very happy with it since 20y nvidia. Software is great, games run awesome and quality of images are more crips.

OK, dumb question. Can you do some temp testing with the video card on the case and then with a thin layer of something between the card and case? Was just thinking the card MAY be sinking some of the backside heat into the case when mounted on top like that.
You will have constant driver issues sound issues not to mention streaming issues it's still a crapshoot for its software
is AV1 supported on floatplane?
OT: I want to get myself a big NAS System. Is there a Consumer Friendly way to connect the Storage via Glassfiber directly to the PCI Bus? Can i get the full 10G Networking Speed or is the PCI Bus the Bottleneck? Will the Grafics Card still get enough Data or is the STorage blocking the complete PCI Bus?
What any issue on NVIDIA GPU RTX 40 series??? 😕😕 But my Zotac NVIDIA RTX 4090 Trinity non-OC gets no any issues.
