  1. As long as he used propper gaged wires and high quality plugs the cable is just fine, most of the world is running 230-240V for almost everything. In Europe a full cattle takes just about 2 minutes to boil thanks to 2400W on 240V, and our new brakers are up to 65A in our homes.

  2. what are you guys talking about my 13900k runs cooler than my 12900k it is only a bit hotter than my 9900k

  3. did he just gave it to you or you pay him ?

  4. You have to do a direct die 13900K cooling with this monster.

  5. This is why I love you guys. $15,000 water chiller for scientific and manufacturing lasers? Toss it on a PC loop. LMFAO.

I love both your ideas btw. I think a cool project would be to watercool the entire lounge, but I def see the productivity capabilities Linus was talking about and I think long term it'll be a great tool for those reviews. Let us see more of Shackleton (famous artic explorer).

  6. andy would be disappointed in linus for removing that protective peel!

  7. Guess you never have seen the cooling systems on some SUPERcomputers – and I'm not even including the many-cpu in parallel types, just stuff like the early Cray machines.
Did you know that the original fluid-cooled computer appears to have been the Cray 2 – from the VERY early 1990s?

  8. thanks john

  9. Do direct die cooling! 😀

  10. water room cooling

  11. Metric

  12. He‘s definitely a cool 😎 dad 😂

  13. We have a basement full of these at work; used to chill semiconductor equipment that runs very hot. They mix in propylene glycol and the water/tubes always look a gross brown color. They spring leaks all the time. Highly recommend suspending them with a liquid tray underneath.

  14. Can the 13900k be de-lidded and/or lapped? Or are they soldered now? Be cool to see the change after that, along with proper coolant/AF in the loop

  15. When I was a kid, computers were large collections of cabinets with even higher cooling requirements than today's PCs.
The original IBM PC and even the AT didn't need a cooler at all, and even some 80386 models got by without a heatsink on the CPU (I'm not sure if ANY of them did).

  16. Did they ever get cloakrooms and lockers for their workers, or did they blow it all on technology?

  17. 2 to 2 1/2 wraps of Teflon tape is most always enough, especially on plastic fittings.

  18. 0:17 Oh no Alex…

  19. This does go to prove that the 13900k is a hot mess… literally.

  20. No delidded testing? :'(

  21. delid cpu linus

  22. You guys ever tried cooling a cpu with a phone cooling semiconductor like a Razer Chroma? Think it'd be an interesting video…

  23. I can’t wait for the video where they delid, liquid metal, and use Corsairs new direct die CPU water block on a 13900KS, for some insane cinebench and perhaps even gaming results with this chiller. Throw in some GPU over clocking, and that’s a sick video!

  24. Me: That is sooo cool
Miners: Looks like we know what to do, mwhuhahahaha

  25. I can't anymore. Fitting in your left hand with thread facing your right. Tape in your right hand with the tape coming from your far side under the roll to the thread. Pinch then end with your left thumb. Then wind tape roll in a clockwise manner is looking at the end of the thread from your right. This means its the right way. And by having the tape coming out that way you are tensioning it as you are wrapping the thread naturally.

  26. Direct die?

    Jiushark review?

  27. Now y’all gotta do direct die cooling

  28. lltstore support still no answer on order #558558, worst aftersale support.. thx

  29. I petition to feature “Sketchy Cord” on the LMG Team page.

  30. For janky cooling it would be interesting to see immersion cooling using an Isopropyl dry ice slurry.

  31. whole office water cooling? 🙂

  32. Use the cryo cooler (cryogenic cooler can liquify air)- (liquid nitrogen)

  33. So basically, it's a fridge.

  34. 5000W just for one computer. I can understand if it were a complete server rack, but imagine the cost of electricity just for one computer, let alone the noise

  35. 10:52 monke linus

  36. I know you guys are in Canada, but why don’t you buy a simple buck/boost transformer with a typical receptacle? Dude, call an Actual Electrician, or pay my airfare and I’ll do it for you. lol

  37. will this cool my pc running scam citizen?

Alex is my favorite to watch on LTT 🤣 Might be an Iowa thing

  38. i bet when the 14900k or ks gets released, linus will probably get that one absolute zero freezer to cool it down a little bit

  39. WHERE IS THE LTT INTRO???

  40. Day 20 of asking Alex to be my mentor

  41. Canada doesnt have 230V sockets? Thats an L

  42. So looking forward to 1 cooler 12 computers

  43. When the camera slowly pans and Alex enters the screen, you just know you're in for a ride.

  44. Time for some CPU delidding then? This cooler is sick!

  45. y'all got kinks damn
