this ai benchmark is deeply flawed and/or not enough data is provided.
if you run something in performance mode which pushes everything to 100%, then obviously its going to draw more power, create more heat and then thermal throttle and lower FPS.
balanced mode sounds like every power profile that computers come with out of the box. it checks and balances system usage with temps and power draw? as in something all computers do already?
is that chip actually collecting data and learning on the fly? or is the software just waiting for an update from HQ telling it how to adapt to different games?
13:40 video had more info than lots of other laptop reviewers, definitely do more if you like covering them 👍
i check on the website cant find your price I find 16gb version for $2850 please help I want the 32gb for your price.
Man is the 1% low that bad? its 2023 and they have figured out a way to fix the 1% lows yet?
Coooooooolllllllllllll
Finally a really good review of a laptop, Ive watched hundreds, maybe thousands and you did great! Please add more content on the size, weight and feel of the laptop, not just those specs but if it feels good to take it out of the house for example. Also real-world battery life, not just numbers but your experience of it. Thanks!
they downgraded some features witth the new legion 7s, kinda sadge
Nice video! Nice review!
Loved it, more laptop / desktop reviews! 😀
When can I buy it?
This is by far the best of all the sponsored videos I've seen for the legion. Thanks for that. One thing I will say though is if they added a mechanical keyboard it would increase a thickness and weight of the overall laptop and I don't think for me personally that will be worth it. But your opinions are valid though. The mechanical keyboard on Alienware laptops are awesome
i’ve always wondered why you tend to do reviews on only ‘accessories’ instead of actual components. i’ve always found your videos much more approachable and entertaining than others in the tech scene. would you ever make that transition? i know it’s not a cheap move to make lol, would still be sick. much love frank!
I’ll still to this day won’t get a high end laptop until they allow us to upgrade the CPU and GPU instead of having to buy a new laptop every few years. It just doesn’t make sense to get a gaming laptop when they are out of date in only a year and can’t be upgraded
Love the review, but after my last lenovo legion purchase I would never recommend anything they offer. Disappointment at ever turn!
I've had a Legion 5 Pro as my main for a year or so now, and I love it! Come upgrade time, it's going to be hard to sway me from staying with a Legion.
Tbh, my biggest gripe with current gen model against last gen is the chassis itself – it lloked so sleek and was way easier to open a year ago. Lenovo, WHYYYYYYY???
I really enjoyed the review. The one thing I'm always curious about is real world battery life with gaming laptops. If I'm spending that much on a laptop that is essentially replacing my main computer I like to be sure that I could use it for regular stuff decently efficiently as well. I'm not expecting crazy numbers but you know at least a couple hours away from the charging cord.
Had to give this video a like to combat all the "sponsored content?!" replies. Just doing my part.
I want one for my work 😢
How about the newest Pro 5i though?
What's the maximum SSD upgrade that it can hold ?
Has any manufacturer ever made a laptop with a larger than 100Wh battery? I've never taken a laptop on a plan and I don't ever plan on doing so (and I'm sure a lot of other people are in the same boat), so limiting all models to what's allowed on a plane seems a bit strange.
I recently got the Gigabyte Aero 16 XE5 with i7 12700H, RTX 3070 Ti, 32Gb RAM DDR5, 2 x 1Tb NVMe Gen. 4, and it also has the AI tunning feature, tbh it works well enough to leave it enabled.

Nothing screams "review" like a video sponsored by the maker of the laptop you are reviewing…
More laptop reviews please. All kinds of laptops from budget to premium
Great review, not sure i think i you missed anything that others have mentioned so all in all great work and keep it up!!! 👍👍
All these new Nvidia laptops are overpriced af. Their main selling point – dlss3 aka AI aka bla-bla – is actually a marketing gimmick. You have 120 fps that still feel like 60, plus lots of static image artifacts. Better wait.
No mini LED 💀
diving into laptops will be great!
Nice ad 😛
It's hard to take anything being said seriously knowing it's sponsored content. "With power to take your gaming to the next level" sounds like pure marketing junk
Fan technology has not improved. Sounds like my 2021 model.
gaming laptop is the worst thing you can buy.
get a desktop for gaming
Lenovo pulling a Samsung lol
Oh hell yeah. I love my Legion 7 Slim Ryzen 9. But this is a damn monster.
review razer blade 16 mini led model
Ai should come in future GPU and cpu
For smart overclock and undervolt and stuff like that
i think i need an upgrade? 9th here
Please do more laptop reviews Frank!
6:40 which game is this?
If only there was a way to compare the AI tuning to the non AI tuning. Feels a bit like "sport mode" at the moment.
