I think this is a shit take. Your content has been on the decline. I subscribed during the pallet haul vids and you stopped doing them. As time has gone on your content has become less and less worth watching so now i only watch when i've seen everything else. This is way more on you than on the algorithm.
Regardless of a product in the tech scene, peripherals, components, cases, CPUs etc …..I always look at various channels as every creator does offer commentary, questions, images etc that is NOT covered by everyone soi get a more comprehensive review of a product.
In my opinion, you should stick to the top 5 tech products or products priced under $50. Social media is moving quickly these days, and platforms like TikTok are well-known for providing quick access to information and enjoyment. Consumers don't want to spend 20 or 30 minutes listening to a tech review. They merely want to know whether the product is worthwhile. If it's nice, they'll simply order it directly, like from Amazon, and then return it if they don't like it.
I personally check for videos to watch on my subscription tab before the home tab but every time youtube is opened its always started with the home tab.
I like your channel more than most other "tech stuff" channels I've visited. But yes, I usually only scroll the YT Home page. I only visit the sub-box when I eventually realize I haven't seen a specific creator in a while. This vid appeared in my home page, and the last vid I saw was Cool Tech Under 50 for February.
I've seen a couple of other channels go through a rebranding, and it seems to work well for them. It's a slow process and you'll see declines for a little while, but it does seem ultimately to make a difference; stay patient. You won't lose me as a subscriber/viewer either way, but I have seen success for others so I wish you all the best and I'm always looking forward to more content. Even if it's only once a month 🙂
I very rarely go into my subscriber box. Not that I dont, but I'll typically go into Youtube with an agenda to find videos on something, and yeah, I'll watch a LinusTech if they have one, and other large creator. But I also get into the groove with certain smaller (not that 2m can be considered small channel) creators where I'll constantly be watching their content.
That very thing happened with you. I was building my PC and Desk in my head and your channel was one of the best sources of inspiration for that. And that naturally drew me in to the rest of yor content. I wouldnt say I lost interest, but in that time, there were topics Id need clairty on they would eat my time and reccomended feed on YouTube (Like when I was shopping for a new car or when I was looking at hooking up a sound system for my old car). Those things would take up most of my feed and while Id occasionally look up some of the more forgotten channels, there was always an MKBHD or LTT video ready for me to consume.
I get how disheartening it can be, the idea of a glass ceiling. Its kinda the reason I havent gotten into YouTube myself. But Id say keep at it man. Youre one of the best in the game and Im sure things will change for the better. We havent forgotten you. The set is great, the content ideas are good, maybe the cadence of uploads is not perfect lately, but what is?
I think the reason why YouTube is changing the algorithm is due to sub/view bots etc being used to increased subscribers and viewers to milk ad revenue 💰🤯and YouTube is trying to combat it. Also, like any business they want to pay out at little as possible to creators and keep m9re for themselves 😩😡
Yes, I do go to my subscription panel and see what everyone has uploaded. That I visit multiple times a day. I just swipe through the home page maybe once and mostly on the subscription page.
Watch from home/recommended. As for backgrounds, angles, and ect. are not as important to me since what i am paying attention to is what is being presented. As for the future of your channel I imagine that it must evolve to stay relevant for the times. A company that has been around for a number of years goes through changes to keep their product appealing to the targeted audience and I can't imagine that being a YT'er is any different. Look forward to the changes and future vids.
honestly its the same for me on tiktok. but ye if you would change some camera angles some times it will give something new to see. and maybe change the setup .and yeah man keep grinding dont stop. oh and for the how i see my videos for me its just my feeds and then i like your vids and see them on the daily. love the content
First, i love your back drop. 2nd, when i watch yt from my phone i mostly on my subbed channels page. When im on my pc there isnt a need for my subbed channel it all shows up in my feed. Im 40 yrs old, i love the random frank p name, but also understand if you need a refresh . Ill watch no matter what. Here a bit of an ego boost for you… When i look up some thing like a peripheral review. You show up before linus. lolz
You're taking the clever route to asking the people who actually watch what they could/would suggest. My self, I don't think changes are necessary, perhaps it's just the way the environment is these days. Over saturation also. The way I watch Youtube is the main page and then someone pops into my head that I haven't heard about/seen for a while. It's harder when you have over a thousand people you subscribe to surely though 😀
I feel for you doing it by yourself though, people suck some seem to want too much content rather than good content these days 🙂
Fuck you for the title though, thought you were leaving us haha, side note the "Frank P" is a little 90's rnb singer type vibe but that added to the charm ha You overall are entertaining dude, nothing needs to change IMO but for whatever reason American companies seem to have to keep changing things when it is rarely better. "If it ain't broke" in other words…

I always browse my subscriptions first. I think a collab with LTT or Jay would help give you big boost!
I fkin hate the YouTube homepage and always go to my subscriptions to look for content to watch

Much Love man.
I watch from the subscription tab most of the time.

We got you, whenever i want to say something and forget it, instead of you being all calm, I would be really mad

1-If you not comfortable with the name
change it. In the end it’s you were watching.
2-it’s a 50/50 on home videos and subscribed channels that’s on YouTube.
Love ur content, best of luck
