Framework, for me, is my next choice. The only thing, I sincerely wish, will be a touchscreen. Maybe, I can live without one for a couple of months for this beauty. I love it.
Their mission is amazing and the amount of openess is cool, too!
For me, this can be a daily driver without second thought. If it exists, I'll be able to slot in a CFexpress card reader for my CFexpress cards and have my "ultimate" editing laptop. The only sad thing, I found (at least regarding their website "builder") is that there's no option for Thunderbolt (13" Laptop). Would be amazing!
I also love the idea of reusing the board as a server since I do need a few of them as NAS devices or media storage. Purely cool products!
You were right for the seizure warning, that title had me about to scream. Lol, had my framework for a little more than a year now and I couldn't be more pleased with it. Plus all the crazy additions the company has been doing setting up a community and ecosystem that sustains itself practically, they're excelling.
This hands down the most intense tech pr0n I’ve seen this century.
I would really like to see a bigger model, like 21 inch or bigger.. yeah i like my large laptops =D

I've had my PC for so long that upgrading means throwing the whole old PC and buying a new one. Honestly, I don't really see the point for upgrades in a laptop, other than storage and RAM.

Jupp, when my highly repairable HP EliteBook 8460p breaks, I will buy one of these. Normally I buy second hand because older laptops are usually more repairable, but I want to support these guys when possible!
