  2. 0:02 is it ryzen 7 7950x3d or ryzen 9 7950 x3d ?

  3. Bloody hell, the random blue screen of death had me thinking my own PC was crashing hahaha. Great vid guys!

  4. The low power consumption is impressive but I don't need one.

  5. U should test it on Win 10.
Win 11 is not good with AMD.

  6. Hey team, great breakdown here, by chance does this issue also affect 6000 X3D series, or is it specific to the 7000 X3D Chips?

  7. Backblaze is amazing !

  8. I love watching your channel! I don't really understand everythinh, but oneday I will have a PC and will at least know the difference between CPU and GPU😂

  9. Thanks for this in depth and detailed review/discussion. it will help me deciding on my next cpu for sure.

  10. One of the best reviews you have ever made on such a piece of hardware. Congrats to all the people behind it!

  11. Great review lab!

  12. Nice subtle support for Ukraine, good luck on getting this video on bili bili

  13. odd that other reviewer were getting different results for sure 🙁 but yeah was waiting on the 7800x3d anyway

  14. Actually thought my BSOD'd

  15. Man, what a detailed analysis, they waited 4 weeks to post the review but dude what an amazing job.
This shows the dedication these guys have… Having to maintain so many variables while testing, windows install, Ram, SSD, motherboard, coolers, GPU , drivers … Hats off man, keep it up

  16. Bro, @0.29, I thought my computer had crashed

  17. I started with AMD at 2006.
    Good old 4200+EE.

I was always AMD fan until FX era. Then I switched to i3 from intel and continue through i5 to i7 9 gen. In these 10 years – I had literally minimium stability issues.
Before i5 9600k I simply bought B450 chipset + ryzen 5 3600 (one or two month after release).

Problem was that some B450 had issue with running of 3rd gen and "MAX" MB were not on sale yet. I bought MB with claming 3rd support – but for cost totally retro UEFI design and cut off from support 1st gen of ryzens. Fair enough….

PROBLEM was terrible, but terrible stability… I´ve spent 7 days in a row trying to solve with – with different bios, different chipset drivers. Nothing helped. What was funny is that with other version of bios the symptoms were different. Once I had a green screen, then BSOD, then the game runs, then the game crashed 35s after playing the game. Boot was terrible long ALWAYS. At the end I returned cpu + mb to the sellers swap for same price Z390 MB + i5 9600k – and since then ZERO BSOD, zero stability issues.

What I see here is similar issues from my POV. I do believe that AMD CPU or even GPU are not bad but they desperately needs some improvements in (stability) testing before releasing their products on the market. AMD has one special ability in these kind of situations – find the source of instability is extremely difficult and at least from my experience is simplest way how to find a trouble is changing components piece of piece.

I know intel isn´t perfect as well, but at least I do believe if you put their CPU to MB… PC will run somehow and if there is something wrong – you will find trouble maker much easier.
(Saying as somebody who wouldnt buy intel cpu at this time because their zero potencial for the future and extremly bad power eff) I still like AMD CPUs but simply do not believe them.

Their products simply need much better support without plenty of "yolo" events. I can see your how desperate you are and you have lab to analyze behind you.
If I would spend once again all my saving for the PC what is barely running without crashes… I would throw them from the windows. This is long term issue and I dont understand how they can ignore it so long.

  18. Sooo this or 13900k ?

  19. This video goes to show the true value of The Lab!

  20. AMD seems to have fallen into a similar trap as Apple. Their latest products are astoundingly efficient but when you need top tier performance and you have the ability to properly cool the CPU, then efficiency is mostly irrelevant.

  21. So, tldr

    Chip = good
    Marketing = bad

  22. Framechasers was on the money with this early, against the current.

  23. This review was bad ass.

  24. So Amy Desk is legit and Alla that, Next time Microsoft calls me asking for remote access I'll patch then through…. Only trusting since they are your sponsor🎉❤😅

  25. Nice video, great explanation at the beginning! So educative 👍

    7950X3D is … niche.
It's for people who wants to game while running virtual machines in the Frequency die.
Such people would (should) know how to set CPU affinity in a way that pushes the game to the V-Cache die while keeping the virtual machines in the Frequency die.

So, if one has this very niche need … then one need 7950X3D bad

But for the rest of us … yeah, I agree. Either wait for 7800X3D, or just get the X version.

  26. Very well put together and super thorough testing. Really shows the good Labs is doing!

High precision review with an attention catching presentation noice

  27. I'm too tired of shelling out money, I'm sticking with the 5800X3D for 7 years.

  28. and now imagine a laptop version of the X3D..just brutal

  29. Can always trust Canadians I say.

  30. The power draw is most definitely the most impressive takeaway from all of this. It really is a shame that AMD isn't using that as its podium to advertise this processor.

  31. Would've loved to see a HWinfo display to see it's not like a PPT limit or something, and that only some weird invisible limit was being hit to keep the core clocks fluctuating

  32. Dear, I am currently promoting a good app. Are you interested in collaborating? Of course, I will pay you a considerable advertising fee

  33. I’m really unfamiliar with the way things are & the way things are done between content creators, so this could be probably will be asinine so in situations like this do tech creators ever liaise with rivals/competitors, or is it a case of monitoring the output of others?

  34. this video was the best in a while
