God no, shows back to near 4 hours, thats a miss for me then, go back to 1 or 2 hour max shows.
3:04:33 I love that Linus just now "figured out" why we love this show.
The literal first ever one, wayyy before "WAN Show", was a live session made with Google Hangouts (nearly 11 years ago… my back hurts)
I've seen every single one and the off topic tangents were always the best.
PLEASE do the army of roombas. There must be at least one video in that, maybe two.
Wow, you guys are so full of “S”… everything you said defending ASUS is negated by the fact that they put a warning in their bios saying your warranty is void if you enable expo… and then they added the warranty void disclaimer for the beta bios several days after they started putting beta bios’s up… i’m not gonna be watching your videos anymore.
why automate floor scrubbing….when you can just threaten colton that he's gonna transferred to floor cleaning
Blockers are a God damned necessity these days and that's just how it it. I often right click on links to play videos or view pages in incognito, because I don't want to be tracked or get stupid recommendations. By default no blocker extensions get used with private window. So I will watch the ads, but also YouTube has to annoy the crap out of me with "get premium", "sign in" nags every single time. So basically I'm being punished with nags every single time I allow ads!? I'm poor as dirt and fhuuucking done with subs so that is never going to be an option. I can't afford to eat right FFS!
It's amazing how these guys can turn every topic into TALKING ABOUT THEMSELVES. And tiresome.
What I found annoying about buying a Samsung tablet was there was no middle range. There was either the slow basic model (which I brought) or a five times the price premium one. I would have gone for a nicer middle ground but that doesn't seem to exist (or didn't when I wanted a tablet)
You know all the drug possession charges that put people in prison are plea deals for dealers. That's how the system actually works and it makes terrible people look like they've faces some mythical injustice
ppl have really had good luck with logitech? i had the worst experience with them to the point i will never buy from them again. 2 G910s (a $180 flagship keyboard at the time) both went bad at the 3 year mark( keys registering multiple/no strokes per key press and dying backlights). i basically spent $400 for 6 years of super light keyboard use, their romer-g switches suck, the mx5000 was horrible as well, so ive regretted every logitech purchase ive ever made. i'd be willing to bet the g915 will develop problems at the 3 year point if you live in a dusty house, go with corsair! the k100 actually has sealed switches that put the romer-g logitech switches to shame. metaverse is better than logitech
I don’t think I’d mind YouTube ads if they didn’t interrupt the damned videos midsentence 1:23:10
3:04:30 Yes, it's fun.
But above all: I don't follow any news. This show is my source of tech news.
I consider using Ad Block ethical piracy because I don't give you Ad Revenue but I give you my watch time that makes you money with sponsors etc. 😉
1:53:29 You some how need to convince that "Under-achieving" fellow, Mark Rober (From NASA-engineer to squirrel assault-course maker) that such a robot would be a fun task.
Asus is the worst company i have dealt with by far. Had a motherboard die within warranty and they basically refused to fix it just saying it was my issue. 6 month of back and forth from Aus to taiwan they never fixed it. I had to pay out of pocket for a new motherboard. Thought that would be a one time thing. Then my r9 280x has screen tearing. They refused to fix that again. ended up having to pay the store a restocking fee and swapped it for a gtx770 and never had a issue. Word of warning, if you ever have a issued with Asus in Aus you are out of luck. Had similar problems with Corsair too. Seems that these big compainies don't really care much about there Aus customers compared to their Stateside counterparts.
if youtube stats blocking for using ad blockers I wont use it at all. FRACK EM
Its almost like companies or capitalists simply consider customers as unwanted baggage. There can very well be a t shirt appropriately titled "Just give your money and get lost bro"
Could the surplus driver shafts be made into extra bits like Hex, Tork or other security type bits etc. That you don't already sell with the screwdriver?
You should probably make the mop!
The problem with youtube and adblocker stuff is that Google knows ads are less profitable than YT Premium even if nobody blocks ads, so they made viewing ads a terrible experience. Then when that pushed people to adblockers, suddenly they decided to block adblockers. If YT never made viewing ads such an awful experience, significantly less people would have learned about and started using adblockers. They did it to themselves and now they're mad about it.
If they stopped showing 3 minutes of ads for every 3 minutes of content, maybe people wouldn't be in such a rush to seek out adblocking measures.
