For $15 I could also get a case that would protect more than just the joy sticks.
This is cool, but I'd argue that it's dumb that there's a need for this to begin with. Steam Deck comes with its own luggage, doesn't it? And if you're traveling with a controller, there's more to protect than just the sticks – may as well get a case/wrap the thing in socks before putting it in a bag. I also think controllers/systems should have modular sticks to begin with (Hall effect, too), or, at least retractable to some degree.
This product is perfect for people that constantly carry their controllers, care about them quite a bit but not enough for a case, have enough money to buy those but not enough to just replace the controller every other year…

Firstly, that's what cases are for. Secondly, what does it really matter if our joysticks get moved a bit in transport? LTT cashing in on the chumps.

you can 3D printe C shaped ones for dirt cheap but they look great

I'm looking at this Segway to a really shitty sale. They still wiggle here… I would probably not put these on my Deck or any mobile console or controller simply because they actually just out right wiggle…. You can see they clearly wiggle in the video too. For 15 a Pop… There is far more cheaper options that work just as well…

not gonna lie, I almost instantly got some the instant I saw them. They'd be really useful for my steamdeck.
been watching since the langley days. Because of LTT, I've been building/upgrading my own pc since 2013, built a few pc's for my friends, helped with troubleshooting, learned all about new tech and of course, the tech tips. Thank you for an amazing 10 years and cheers to many many more. Can't wait to see what the future holds for LTT!!
