What about the part where you have to yell at it or say alexa over and over again for it to ear you.
Trying to listen to the radio on the Echo has become a nightmare.
Every time you start up the Echo radio, change to a new station, pause
and resume for even a few seconds; they start running a new set
of commercials for sports betting websites and other nonsense.
They are relentless !!
If you want to start the day by checking who the host is on one station
and then decide to switch to a different station, you could easily be
subjected to 10 minutes of commercials in addition to the commercials
the radio station is running. Whose fault is this, Audacy or Amazon ?
I bought the echo to listen to the radio but all these extra commercials
are causing me to go back to my old fashioned radios and just listen
to local radio. Who can we complain to ??

Amazon echo devices with mediatek processors have always been a class apart. This one looks pretty slick.
On aside, the videos "Don’t Be An Idiot! Get Rid of Alexa!" and "The Dream of Technocracy – Why Big Oil Conquered The World" by The Corbett Report are worth a watch. Also "The Role Of Utility Meters In Mass Surveillance" by minivanjack (Jerry Day).

Echo sounds so much better than the nest
I think your remarks about the spherical shape of the echo are pretty funny. I actually bought one myself, and I also like it. Tell the truth, I don’t know which I like more, listening to it or holding it.

The clean and compact design makes it a good fit for small spaces as well. The integrated features are neat as well including the Mediatek processor and the LED light at the bottom.
Just sent mine back. Not great. Kinda crappie. They have not improved much.
This globe is literally so good with its LED lighting. I think Amazon is using great mediatek chipsets because they all perform so good.
