  1. Take my money please!

  2. At present, I am utilizing an HP Elitebook, which possesses a unique feature that is absent in many laptops: a data SIM dock. This allows me to have 5G/LTE connectivity on the move, eliminating the need for WiFi. If Macbooks were to incorporate this option, I would swiftly switch to a Macbook. I express my gratitude to Dan Ackerman for consistently delivering enjoyable reviews.

  3. laptops are so cheap in the US. It costs at least $600 more in asia

Personally, I still use the very original silver Macbook Air with the light up Apple logo. It's a little heavy, but I've had this beast for over 5 years+ and it is still running great. The key is to just take good care of it.

  4. The ugly brother of Richard Gere

  5. 15 becomes a selling point suddenly

  6. The resolution doesn’t change by default. So a bigger screen doesn’t mean bigger text…. You would still have to zoom in or change the resolution, so I’m not sure what you meant.

  7. in college, everyone had the 13 inch MacBooks. I wonder with this new pricing and larger 15in screen if this will be the new MacBook to sweep throughout colleges in the fall.

  8. damn I wish they released the M3 chip this year. I was waiting for the new chip but if the 13inch air is the literal exact same thing as last years then I feel like I just wasted a year.

  9. Just remember the 256gb macbook air on these has half speed ssd compared to even the 256gb m1 macbook air. I think everyonr pretty much forgot about this fiasco

  10. sexy beatiful hardware but can't game on it, so for laptops will be sticking to windows

Gutted. Wanted a large screen Air 2 years ago but got a 16” M1 Pro even though I didn’t need that much power. Amazing laptop but I’m glad people now have this laptop as a cheaper option!

  11. This reviewer speaks as if he knows how everyone works. What they exactly need and prefer. V bizarre.

  12. It doesn't support at least two external displays natively!!!!!

  13. Chumma – since size is bigger obviously battery is bigger. Thats why better battery life.

  14. They could have given Num key pad

  15. <Nice video and I thank you for breaking it down!! Even with the current crypto dip, I'm still glad 😊 I can smile back at my portfolio of $53,700 made from my weekly trade within a short period of time

  16. If you find the 15 inch too bulky and heavy to carry around, but you’re ok mobilising around with the 13 inch, then you need to toughen quite considerably up my friend

  17. Just wish they’d put a 3rd thunderbolt port

  18. No more tapered edges.. I really liked how that distinguished it.

Now just looks like a pro, with different internals

  19. one thing missing refresh rates 120Hz

  20. Beautiful 15 inches with a big notch in your face to ruin it 😅.

  21. I would rather have a new 12” with M-Silicon. 15” is cool though, gonna up a lot of digital creators game that can’t afford the 14” and 16”

I so with the m1 Air had MagSafe though.

  22. 2:48 🤦🏽‍♂ how do you place that wonderful midnight MBA on a dirty table like that so casually? that should be a crime. the footage made me cringe. that poor midnight laptop 🥲

  23. You get so excited thinking about purchasing when you realize the base model still comes with 8 gb of ram. I can see why people say MacBooks are overpriced.

  24. Wow, is this guy ever bland. Is he really dumb or is he just acting dumb so his audience can relate to him? Blah blah blah-blah blah! The better part of five minutes to say it has a bigger screen and remind us of what the 13-inch has to offer, now with a bigger screen. And a hands on? Because he used the keyboard and trackpad? Did you use it for anything like… the internet? Is there any performance difference? Is the keyboard more spaced out? Is the trackpad bigger? Is it pretty much exactly like the 13-inch, just with a larger screen? How is this a meaningful hands on if you're playing Captain Obvious? I guess CNET has nothing more to offer than shitposting about popular topics for views. This is a low-effort video of low quality.

  25. 15 inch without keypad. WTF Apple, how to work effectively!!!

  26. I ordered a midnight 15 inch MBA.

  27. Now that the Air has dropped by $100, I think these laptops are almost everything they need to be. It’s definitely their mainstream laptop now. It does make that 13” Pro that much more irrelevant.

  28. I would prefer 12 or even 11 inch back 😀

  29. they priced it so well.. I couldn't believe when it was announced at 1299. I thought it would be about 1500 starting as the MacBook Pro 15 starts at 2500

  30. 1:38 someone pissed there?

  31. Long-time CNET fan. The first thing I thought when I saw the new Air in the keynote was, "Dan Ackerman's going to love this."

  32. As a fan of 15 inch PCs for years since my first computer as a teen, I’ve been wanting a 15 inch MacBook and it looks like I am finally getting one.

  33. I just ordered with 24 gb ram ,2 tb ,i have the 13” version as well and i may sale that one since I’m getting the 15”

  34. Or is it what you want/need? The point of the Macbook Air is the value of portability. At that size, why not just go with the 14" Macbook Pro that is much better? The price most likely but as someone who wouldn't use the Air now, I'm bias. However, adding a 15" a part of me doesn't see the appeal. If they keep adding and diluting the mac lineup, they just might return to the awful Apple of the '90s when they were forced to bring Steve back.

  35. Bro just wants a 13 inch laptop with a 15 inch screen.

what a shame Apple couldn't bend the laws of physics in all this time

  36. The base model with just 8/256 is a fukin joke

  37. Awesome

  38. Haha i really need the touchbar! Hope it makes a comeback for 15.6 “ apple laptop though it is most unlikely!

MacBook AIR: 1,5 kg and large similar an MBP 16". 8 yrs ago they made the last MacBook, NOT AIR, large as a magazine and 0,92 kg. Kill that AIR suffix, Apple, its ridiculous. Now there are 6.7", 8.3", 10.2", 11", 12.9", 13.6", 14", 15.3, 16", 24", 27". I really hope VisionOS could be a real product in future 'cause the "1 inch every year" development program by Apple is something hilarious.

  39. meh, still no oled 120hz

256gb, 8gb ram and a display that isn't even 4k or oled for £1400!? No thanks.

  40. It's the iOS I don't like in MacBook.

  41. It's an amazing looking laptop. But if you want all the ports you have to spend $2,000 on the pro-versions. I just bought a Dell Inspiron 16 plus with the core i7 h model 12 gen, with a 3050 TI for graphics 16 gigs of RAM and a 500 gig hard drive thunderbolt 4 ports HDMI to USB-A ports and an adapter with a 3k screen for $999. Plus not to mention it's upgradable. Apple is fleecing everybody. Unless you're an Apple fan boy you always think Apple is better than everyone else I will say that battery life is a given and the screens are always good but is it really worth the upcharge? That's up to you lol

  42. Good apple

  43. The thing is great, but to get a usable (16/512) version will cost how much? 2 grand?

  44. It's such a shame it doesn't have proper speakers.

  45. I thought that the battery runtime was the same on the old one too.

  46. If only MacOS (M series chips) support more professional (Engineering) apps…Until then I'll stick to Windows laptops.
