Comments

  1. Sounds like Apple had better lawyers

  2. The point Tim Sweeny was making was that google and apple only allow there own stores on there phone systems. Tim grew up in an era when Apple spearheaded and started the home computer revolution, all software was open source and his moves here were legendary. Apple and Google should have to allow other stores on there products. It's no different than how Microsoft was sued for forcing users to use Internet explorer. We should have a right to choose.

  3. Great work. Except for the background music. Unnecessary and distracting.

  4. Apple stopped supporting older apps that we the users bought .Unplayable bought games and software

  5. Google did nothing but still got sued by epic

  6. Massive L for Epic

  7. Apple IOS is an illegal monopoly because the only real phone OS options are either android or IOS. But android allows for third party stores and downloading from the bowser. So Apple locking you into their appstore is absolute bs

kept having to rewatch bc I got lost in your eyes

  8. How much did apple bribe the judge?

  9. Is there any other way to download apps on iOS devices without unnecessary difficulty? If so the App Store might be considered as a monopoly on iOS devices. So why can’t I download Fortnite on the iOS App Store?

  10. Can anyone give me this girl’s name?

  11. But like why take the whole app off all you had to do is to make the price a bit higher

  12. Key Background. Apple removed Epic's game Fortnite from its App Store in August 2020 after Epic Games offered an external payment option for in-app purchases, which avoided Apple's 30% App Store fee and broke the company's rules.

  13. If epic want their app on apples devices then its their choice lol but they have to follow rules

  14. I hate Apple. I think Epic should be allowed to make whatever price they want for their customers. Fortnite is their game after all.

  15. I know this will be the stupidest comment on here but, In turn we’re not getting fortnite mobile back on iOS because apple has pulled old games that did better after people realized the company that made the game was making the money and not Apple.

In fortnite I have to shoot people 700 times for them to die but they only have to shoot me once. Does Epic just not know how to make a game?

  16. I stopped playing Fortnite because of epic.

  17. this helped me so much w my econ case study hw ty ty

  18. Why is the music so loud it’s sooo irritating

  19. Biased explanation

  20. enjoying both the background music and the actual content equally😎😎

  21. When it comes to payments, I would prefer that developers can implement their own along side Apple’s and give customers the choice. While I trust Apple, Google and Epic to process a payment I may not feel the same about another developer so let the consumer decide who they want to send their money to the developer via. There should be some controls to this such as Apple not forcing their option to the top of the list – and worse, enither side allowed to advocate and cause consumer confusion.

  22. Question: does Apple also take a cut on web-view apps or web apps or websites?

  23. I just wanna be able to play fortnite on my mac

  24. Still hate Apple. They have a strong hold grip on its games. They are heavily limiting what is possible for phone games. Our phone is stringer than an Xbox 1. Yet most games on our phone are worse. I blame Google and Apple for this. I am hopping that they loose there strong hold as laws start updating to be more in line with this digital age.

We should have games like halo 1 on our phones. But most are just trash games!

  25. 7:48 no things won't be 30% cheaper. Apple still gets 15%-30% of any sales leading from the app ever if you use a third-party payment system on a website.

Soo much leading in this video. The ruling on the California law means nothing nationally and was squeezed in using the extreme freedom of interpretation of the judge and will most likely be killed in a national court.
