Hey, we snuck a joke into this video that in retrospect was too sneaky. Thumb drives like the one shown at 06:36 are scams, and we should have made that abundantly clear. Thumb drives with capacity this high don't exist, so don't buy them! Here's some links to products that aren't scams though:

Thank you!
Is ugreen the new anker since they got axed?
I very rarely see anything in videos like these that I immediately want to buy, but man that soldering iron looks so good.
I don't know about US, but in many other parts of the world "under 100$" still makes it pretty expensive.
Even so, these products will def be useful..
Yesh
As someone who daily drives the SS Artic 7s, this is awesome. The 7s have an annoying cushion that came with the headphones… they're so thin it's basically like having your ear pressed against the inner wall of the headphones… and when you game for multiple hours, it is quite annoying to the ears. Will be checking out that sponsor
most useless video
I love, for once, already having a product Linus recommends. Pinecil FTW.
My can't live without is a 8 in 1 USB C dongle with M.2 Storage HDMI with various USB, A & C and 2 SD card slots. Works well with my Samsung Phone….
I have the same SSD enclosure for a spare drive, to be used as a spare drive, which is wayyy faster than any external HDD or thumb drives. It also has a USB-C to USB-C cable, allowing the drive transfer speed to get pretty close to an onboard drive.
i actually replaced my disintegrating earpads on my skullcandy crushers a couple months ago with wc cushions, they're slightly smaller and the PU leather isn't as soft as the originals, but the cool design makes up for it lol
Perhaps someday I will own a PC with a USB-C port, or anything to plug into one. For now, to me, it's just that plug my phone uses.
i actually used wicked cushions to replace my first gen skullcandy crusher ear cups and they lasted way longer then the original ones
on best buy you can buy a 2tb hard drive for around the same price or less and I was just wounding what would be better?
This is very useful! How about another video where you ask your audience to suggest their favorite handy tech tools under $100? Then you can compile the most recommended ones and review them based on popular demand. It's a great way to involve your viewers and help them discover new and useful tech tools. Looking forward to that~Should be pretty useful and fun.
Funny now it's $39.99 PINECIL
I can vouch for Wicked Cushions. When I needed replacement ear cups for my Sony WH-H900N, the only replacement I could find was a Chinese clone that was identical to the original ear cups, and rather pricy for what they were. The originals were pretty low quality, so I really wanted something better. Figured out through Google that the Wicked Cushions for the ATH-M50X would fit on the Sony with only minor modification. They certainly held up a lot better, actually being sewed together instead of glued (the glued seam was where the original started coming apart), were quite a bit thicker and a lot more comfortable. The fake leather finish started flaking off after a couple years of use, but keep in mind I wore those things every day as my primary headphones, which I'm usually always wearing when I'm on the computer. They were a significant upgrade from the original, and at a reasonable price. But they didn't have all these fancy designs when I bought mine, that makes them even better, since audiophile or studio headphones can look pretty bland. and there isn't normally much you can do to improve that.
I love these! As a techie, it's not always easy keeping up with all the gadgets and gizmos , or even know how they truly perform, so it's nice to hear someone vouch for them
I have one of those USB power meters, it comes in handy sometimes, but this one looks WAY better. I might have to grab one..
I think for $70 it's probably not worth it for the extra features (which I don't even know if I would ever need), since a basic one is $5 and generally what you want out of one of these things is to measure power and it does that well enough and also measures it over time so you can measure battery capacity. It's probably less accurate than something more expensive, but it's good enough for me.
I never do this, but I can vouch for Wicked Cushions. They are awesome, super comfy, and turned my old headphones back to feeling brand new again. Great video, love this style!
that bump between 1 und 3 khz is NOT minimal impact
I use Dekoni Earpads. Love them
Oh no! Those Wicked headphones covers look like they invented Pullups for your head. LOL
Tools you can’t live without, first item on list is something completely useless to most people watching 😂
Antone tried the solderign iron ,? What ya think abuut it ?😊
Wow nice produk
Thank you needed this video.
Uh.. Im just using my desk for work and Gaming. This video is probbably not ment for people like me.. Have plenty of USB ports. Never soldered anything or care to since waranty exists. Enclosure for M.2? Why?? Just throw it in the pc or build something wireless to make it actually usefull. Those headphone cushions are 30 dollars. If they need changing just drop in few more bucks and upgrade already.
This looks like they had to put sponsors they didnt use somewhere.
This might be the first time im actually dissapointed by the video from LTT after a decade.. if its a "handy tech" why are there usb hubs and headphone cushions.. I get the soldering iron for keyboard makers or the first thing for whatever it is.
Me trying to realise why that fridge was so empty… Then realising it was the staff breakroom. 🤦♂
That power meter looks well handy though!
@6:06 One problem I have found with Type C high capacity drives; some systems mount them as non-removable storage. I have one which won't work with scan stations at my university; bummer.
Moar?
Don’t go that Orico enclosure – I used that for my raspberry pi and it had nothing but problems. The controller has known issues with Linux
Ive that Pinecil, I love it. Gamechanger definitely, I use it of a USB-C powerbank Sometimes, and it works like a charm.
I’m already using 3 of those Orico NVMe enclosures. Too bad only the top is metal, the rest is durable plastic. But that doesn’t help transfer heat.
Great timing on this one I need new headphone pads for my Beyedynamics … Ordered some WickedCushions 🙂
Some really cool stuff in the vid too!
I have the SSD drive enclosure (6:05)! This exact brand and model!! It has been very useful and reliable, I highly recommend!!!! AAaaaaaa!!!!!!
The DOCKCASE linked in the description is for a smart SSD enclosure and not the 6 in 1 smart hub
That fat balding guy died for this
those really large but cheap USB drives are FAKE Capacity
oh wow, thats a bunch of crap that either worse than whatever you already have or noone needs. like the soldering iron for example, dude, so many questions its just a soldering iron made more complicated for no reason
92€ for the pinecil in europes Amazon wtf??
That "DOCKCASE USB C Smart Hub 6-in-1 (Explorer Edition)" link in the description now goes to "DOCKCASE Explorer Edition M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure". Might want to update the link, especially as both of them are "Explorer Edition".
Just moved… Have an SSD for my Tower. Need a PCIe Ribbon Cable, any recommendations?
Actually one hell of a cool tech under $100 round up.
