  1. Thank you so much.. this is such a big big help.. have a wonderful day! 🎉🎉🎉

  2. This is pointless i understand the faces but everything else is taken from a public street.

  3. Just because you provide an address, doesn't mean you own that address. Trolls are going to have a field day.

  4. Sigh…. should we even have to do this? Talk about wasting time. Why make this tech in the first place?

  5. I don’t know. Blurring your house my make it even more suspicious and people want to know why it’s blurred out.

  6. Great tips!

  7. I see why people would do this but people who do it on multifamily units or apartments are menaces to society

  8. I guess I got lucky when it came to ensuring my home’s privacy. I did this back when street view first came out. Except back them, google would completely remove your home and any images that had the smallest part of your property. To this day if you try to street view my house it takes you about five homes down the block. Because of my request, about 15 homes are not available at all on street view. BTW- google means it when they say this is a lifetime change. To this day, they still update my street but skip the same houses that it removed over 15 years ago since my request to remove my house. I bet real estate agents in my area hate me. Cause this value tool is ot available for the houses surrounding mine.

  9. The title is a bit misleading since you can't do it yourself rather you are requesting for it to be done. I think it should read as 'How to request a blurring of your house in Google Maps'. 😄

  10. People shouldn't have the right the blur their home at all. It's viewable from a public space. I'd like anyone to provide me of an example where blurring a home protects someone's privacy. If someone's looking at your house on street view they already have your address.

  11. Wow 😮

  12. Damn, thought I was going to be able to just blur out my whole neighborhood and mess with my friends and blur out their houses too. LOL

  13. Its great 👍

  14. 🤔 Surprisingly, from thousands of kms I was able to identify some individuals from my home village. It was terrible indeed.

  15. Useful. Cnet is cool. Luck Guys.

  16. All the companies and services be it food delivery, packages, Uber, etc etc. Blurring your house in Google Maps might make it harder for them to find your home. Not sure it’s really worth it.

  17. So you have to share your personal details just so Google can blur your home? In the first place, Google has no right sharing people's homes in their maps. It's agains anyone's privacy. But since it's an American company, they get away with it.

  18. This is fine & dandy for the current home owner. What about future ones tho? Shouldn’t they have the right to unblurr the home once it’s sold? I can see there will be some upset future home owners of blurred-out houses.

  19. But your home, plate and face as you walk down the street are all free and viewed by the public. Driving to work, maybe 50 cars can see my plate, each way. Probably a few hundred drive by my house every day and can see it. Not sure I understand the paranoia. 🤷🏼‍♂️

  20. that’s not his real voice, but an a.i. voice.

  21. Isn't it better to hide a leaf amongst a forest? On top of that not every house is going to be blurred nor is every license plate so people can still find you through other people. I guess this would work good enough for faces though

  22. Japanese have a saying, the nail that sticks out get hammered

  23. Great options to have for sure😀

  24. Most likely will attract more attention to your house.

  25. GREAT EQUIPMENT🔥🔥
