No offence to Elijah, You can do whatever you want with your setup, But I am a one color scheme guy, and I really hating the overprice trashed color keyboard and mouse pad, it sucks really, sucks, I will slide with Linus this time, IT'S My personal opinion, the mouse pad and keyboard looks ssssssssoooo off topic.

Elijah and Linus butting heads very seriously in this one. SERIOUSLY makes me want a floatplane for the cut content.
M50x. Too much bad bass. Should've got the M40x on sale for $80, spent the $30 difference on acceptable earpads. Would be more comfortable and sound better than the 50x. But. $100 range on headphones sounds better than some $300 speakers. There's nothing basic about them.

note for peeps thinking of rack mounting gear. The screws you have at home WILL NOT FIT…different thread then anything else on the market…a rack should get you started, but get the special dish cupped washers separately…and the spacers that go behind the gear…trust me on this. Either way, get the washers, they are built specifically for this…
