Upgraded to Windows 11, my recent rig began to cr*p the toilet almost immediatly. Taskmanager crashing, stutters and lockups while browsing firefox, games became unplayable. After a week I had enough and reverted back to Windows 10.
Windows 11 is sh*t in 2023.
Edit: Yes, I updated all the drivers that needed upgrades. Even the soundcard driver recieved an update. Still the same thing.

So uh basically can anyone help me? Basically I tried upgrading my thinkpad with the windows 11 upgrade assistant. It worked and booted up with the Windows 11 loading but after a while I saw something it said undoing changes made to your computer. I don't get it but I meet the requirements. Can anyone solve this?

I had no issues when I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 my system is very stable after upgrading. And I never had to backup any data and all of my data I left on my system when upgrading.

Hi, I just have to say thanks for the video, but I am old and have programs that are used quite frequently and have been discontinued ages ago. How hard would it be to save my existing software that I can no longer download?
I find that Macrium Reflect does better backups, they 100% work on restore. I used both Acronis and Macrium Reflect to backup HDD and then restore the backup on an SSD drive (instead of cloning, a full backup is good to have for a while for a client's upgrade, in case something goes horribly wrong in the next few weeks)
Acronis had borked several times, same settings same everything, restoring the backup would result on non bootable or otherwise borked windows installation, so I'd have to re-image it (the problem lied in the backup itself). It would work on the second or third try (and yes hdd was error free etc) but I'd lost so much time, so I tried the free Reflect quite a few years back, and I 'm sticking with it. The smoothest experience ever.
And yes, I'm Norton Ghost old. I have a Pentium III Windows 98 backup from when Napster had it's servers up, with my friends list intact ^_^

what i did was just click download wait 1 hour and see all the reboots and boom windows 11 was there no setup needed and all the data was already there like it took everithing from windows 10 and put it on windows 11

I'm waiting until it's a mature enough OS with the equivalent of a 'Service Pack 1'. Until then or there's enough reason and stability to upgrade, I'm sticking with 10.
If I were stupid enough to want try try Windoze 11 super bloatware unoperating commercial exploitation system, I would clone my C: drive for a backup first. Then I could revert to my previous version by simply putting the old drive back in.

i have a question, i have windows 10 enterprise on my home pc for some reason and need to replace it with windows 10 home so i can activate windows, if anyone could tell me how to do this it will be a ton of help. i want to keep all my personal files too if possible,
All my old Windows computers reported incompatibility with Win 11 . Dell Optiplex 7440 All In One 4K Touch i7 6700 16GB RAM AMD and Intel graphics Dell Precision M6700 mobile workstation, These two old machines are now running Win 10 and Win 11 Pro from the same physical drive with no issues. I just made a bootable USB from the Win 11 download site despite warnings from Windows PC health check earlier….seamless. Give it a try , if you have a MS account and it all goes wrong just re-install 10 and Windows will prompt you to restore from a previous backup. If using one drive remember to shrink it and then format the unallocated space and install to there. This worked for me. I never had any of the problems described in the video regarding TPM. Both of the machines mentioned earlier only have TPM 1.2 but careful machine prep may be the way. If you have read my ramblings, thanks…dunno how to make it shorter. P.S. two drives are next…say bye bye to two boot sectors on one drive. 🏍
