Amazing Products TV Do these really exist?

Comments

  1. 14:16 absolutely CANNOT WAIT for everyone with this attitude to utterly and completely choke on their words in 10 years. When you're eating your disgusting grasshopper patty remember people tried to tell you.

  2. hello from one year in the future

  3. Really Linus? You could use any headset? That mean you could justify using that $15k cyberman setup? Do tell.

  4. Maybe Zuckerberg is just planning on making the premise for Enter the Dragon come true in real life and wants to be the American version of that antagonist in the movie that holds massive martial arts tournaments on his private island. 😛

  5. Hack the Vest!

  6. If Sonova can indeed sell products as Sennheisers, maybe they aren't going away.

Hopefully Sonova make enough money off their existing products and can leverage their acquired technology to improve on that. Allowing them to continue selling Sennheiser products. Even if that line of products costs them money. Which it might not. Sonova haven't had to spend on the research and developement of them. Besides cosmetically more probably doesn't need to be spent.

Some day Millenialls and Gen Z are going to be getting old and need hearing aids. I'd be pretty keen on Sennheiser ones. The reputation the Sennheiser name has would bring new attention to what Sonova are doing. They'd be insane to not use that.

Sennheiser headphones disappearing seems quite unlikely to me. In a market that's too easily sold the shiny, selling the headphone division to a company with a vested interest in consumer audio might have been the best solution to keep the brand alive. The people want wireless, compact and full of digital features. Sennheiser would have to compromise on quality and focus on marketting to gain market share. That's just not what Sennheiser does. They want to be high end, a little exclusive and niche. It would be very difficult to justify a budget to developing analog headphones if the goal is to make money from them. If the goal was to maintain and grow brand recognition, that's a different story. That's something easily sold to the bean counters.

Being that Sonova grossed 2.8 billion USD in 2020/21, I reckon they can afford to maintain the Sennheiser product line. I'd be even more likely to buy Sennheiser products if I knew the money was going to help develop hearing aids.

  7. What about if i pay everytime and in case of an accident it dosent go off? Who pay then? say you lucky and end up in a wheelchair.

  8. Thank you so much Dr okouromi the herbal medicine you sent me worked perfectly well now I'm free from Cancer….

Linus is probably never going to read this, but for anyone else interested, google has a dedicated page where you can check what they think about in terms of interestes and advertising. It's quite interesting. You can find it under account settings > data & personalization > Ad Settings > Go To Ad Settings and in the bottom you will see "How your ads are personalized".

  9. Why is Luke dead inside?

  10. AMD FirePro product line uses S – such as the s9150 or the s7150 series.

Also that new computer design for Gigabyte’s Aorus Model S appears to use the discontinued Silverstone Tek Aluminum Tower Computer Case FT03B-MINI – Black

  11. I ditched Coca Cola about a year ago and switched to the "more local" and eco-friendly Fritz-Kola in Hamburg, Germany. So much better… cannot believe I drank this mach Coca Cola before… 😀 They even have a sugar free version, that tastes good.

  12. S for a car is sport s for a computer is silent

  13. Well hey, Kaua'i was where they filmed Jurassic Park, so maybe Zuck misunderstood the concept of a movie and thinks he'll find more of his lizardkind there.

  14. ratcheting screwdriver?

  15. For the La Jolla thing. The J is pronounced like an H. and the double l's like a y. La Hoya basically. Rich neighborhood in my native San Diego

  16. RIP my Sennheiser CX275s

  17. How the hell is that not illegal to charge a subscription for an airbag. I really doubt that's legal

  18. People who actually ride. Pretend the world is trying to kill them whenever they even look at their bike. They are some of the most defensive and proactive drivers you can find on the road. Their vest not lighting up would be noticed by the vast majority of those riders, regardless of age. However, the young, dumb, crotch rocket 160mph retrds well… nothing short of a few life choice altering experiences will change their approach. They just don’t care yet… they will if they survive. But until that moment… theres no point in investing time trying to change their minds or protect them from their choices. Either way, well reasoned out. Enjoyed that segment.

  19. 1500 ACRES, THINK MARK!

  20. I listened to this wearing a Sennheiser HD598. I bought these in 2012.

  21. epic games is screwing over a lot of developers of the games they are giving away look it up

  22. 30:13 Imagine being the kind of sociopath that thinks it's society's responsibility to take care of yourself. Imagine being such a selfish twat you can be bothered to take responsibility for your own life and choices and instead think everyone else somehow needs to care more about you than themselves.

  23. 25:06 Pronounced "Climb" but spelled Klim

  24. You mentioned Sennheiser have a wide range of products, yet I was only aware they make headphones, so to me they sold the whole thing. Baffling.

  25. Coca Cola is very evil. Just look at how they fucked Mexico. Mexico tried to put warnings on coke, but coke got uncle Sam to fuck Mexico trade and wouldn't allow import avocados into the u.s. Mexico folded.. Just one of a million examples.

Coke uses all the water in regions of Mexico. Makes water cost more than coke. Poor families Feed babies coke because they can't buy water

  26. You don't live in a place where you can buy good Cocacola? Is that place earth?

  27. At least once a show you bring up a Stallman was right moment. Software as a service needs to die.

  28. About the ads, what if companies start paying google or facebook for background checks basically buying your info to see if you are into things they disagree with.

You are looking at the helmet the wrong way.. They are selling it for 800$ or for those who don't ride as much could pay 10$ monthly. I don't see anything wrong because just buy it for 800$.

I ride motorcycles and I would simply pay 800$ once, it's a non issue. It's just a cheaper option. For people who can't afford 800$

My issue is how often can u use it? I would hate to pay 800$ if it's only usable once

  29. The news about Sennheiser is kind of disappointing, I have a set of hd280 pros that I have been using for quite a few years and only had to replace the pads. I also more recently got a pair of the pc68x from drop which I also really like. I also got a Sennheiser epos gsx1000 USB sound card/headphone amp. Basically they have been one of the few companies that I have not had any problems recommending their products.

  30. Ah RIP sennheiser. What brand is a good replacement?

  31. The Sennheiser bit is rather concerning.

  32. So now that Senheisser is gone, who do I go to if I want to get an even better pair of headphones from?
    Shit sucks man.

  33. While I strongly dislike Epic and think their cash slinging about to take games and services hostage just to slice out themselves a cut of the pie is utterly toxic, I completely don't believe that the Phil Schiller quote is actually true. Apple got to being a multi-trillion dollar corporation by being predatory in literally every way imaginable. It is completely implausible that they would cut one of their most profitable revenues in less than half just because they "make too much money".
After all, there's a reason why billionaires like Bobby Kotick continue to lay off employees and undercut their own business just for the sake of giving themselves hundreds of million dollar bonuses. Because, no amount of money is EVER enough.

  34. Question. How does the backpack authentication thing confirm that at the time of impact that you are a paid subscriber? I drive around 40k miles/year for my job and it's staggering just how often there are service coverage outages, even in what feels like are well populated areas. So, what's stopping this bullshit thing from just not having signal at the time of impact?

  35. interesting thing about ad info tracking and those moments there's a bit of latency and you're impatiently clicking the button and it finally goes through and you hit and ad for some obscure sight that is…. maybe not mainstream or not reflective of you feeling or beliefs but it becomes part of you "profile" with the add tracking lol

  36. For the vest get the teather style. Problems solved. Thanks Ryan F9

  37. I predict Epic / Tim Sweeny will fail to reach their goals since the free games approach is limited and flawed. They will eventually run out of games to give away. (or i'll have so many free games, i'll have no need or time to buy) Then yes people will use the store, but the traffic will be price driven and prices seem to be going up not down. So at this rate EGS will simply price itself out of the market. Why they just don't cut the margins to the bone and compete on price alone is beyond me. If I were the game developers, I'd start pushing a public open source distributed store. As an aside, the upper class is so overly wealthy often they don't really need to do the best or right thing evidently. Just look at the excessive price of v-bucks, for instance. Epic would make a lot more if the price point was more affordable. Not to mention how many players they've driven away with their ineffective Skill Based Matchmaking and the not working very well anti-cheating measures.

  38. Getting tired of all the in my face advertising. I'm so tired I've personally resolved not to buy advertised products, perhaps if ads weren't so effective, they'd stop constantly shoving lame ads down our throats? Maybe if manufactures just made sufficient numbers of great products at reasonable prices, they wouldn't need to advertise so much? 🙁

  39. Imagine how expensive old Sennheiser headphones are going to become.

  40. i recently bought some new Sennheiser earphones that are just awful garbage worse the kind that comes with your phone, nothing like any of there old gear, so my guess is they spent all there money on a new product line, and beancounters just replaced all the good parts with cheap garbage and pocketed the extra money, and it flopped turns out selling 5$ earphones for 40$ is hard and its certainly not the kind of thing that could be accomplished by the kind of filth that would attempt it.

but destroying a well known and beloved business is easy

  41. @49:43 I think… reward people with store money (for people to "buy" games) when they purchase V-Bucks, is more effective than giving free games away.
The difference between "Oh, free stuffs!" vs "this is my hard earn money, I get to buy and own a game I want to play". I think people will cherish the 2nd method more.

  42. Smartphone isn't a specialized, single purpose machine. Old school 2G phone, Wacom drawing board, Xbox, IOT surveillance, etc, these are specialized, single purposes machine.
Smartphones and not Switch or PSP or GameBoy.

  43. fix the time stamps please!

  44. has anybody ever noticed that tesla is making SEXY cars.. but really they're making S3XY models and those letters are not by coincidence!

  45. Having had to deal with steam support recently…
I would much rather buy a game on epic than steam. Useless!
