About websites vs the apps: I just can't be bothered trying to deal with lots of information on a small screen with no side-by-side window view. So anytime I research something, or try to book a hotel of vacation etc. I fire up the old desktop. Yeah my age is showing I guess.

36:30 Twitter was actually sustainable (not extremely profitable, but sustainable)… until Musk saddled it with tens of billions in debt as part of his takeover of it. Without the acquisition, they may have needed to downsize some to ensure continued sustainability and start being profitable, but it is Musk who doomed it to its current state. The "savings" made on firing employees and other cost cutting measures still don't make up for the catastrophically large interest payments that are solely due to Musk's takeover.
I'll add that it is absolutely nonsensical that you can even acquire a company this way, with a massive loan in the company's name used to pay a part of the price you're paying to shareholders, and that Musk will probably not have to pay himself as he'll just drive the company into bankruptcy.

the "LTT TV" thing is already a practice on some TV stations that are transitioning from traditional tv to 24/7 stream to push their contents and monetise it in the process. It kinda works if you wanted to experience a tv-sque feeling without forcing to subscribe to IPTV or cable.
If you think going from Twitter to Threads is a better thing, you don't understand the definition of irony. Unless you are tied to social media for work or discoverability (such as artists), use this opportunity to get off ALL forms of social media. This is your out.

Luke must be the most likeable chap on YouTube. Everything about him says 'decency' to me. The channel is great and the content is outstanding but, Luke stands out from all of it. Just an observation.

I worked retail years ago (1996-2007) but āCIDā or āSee IDā is unenforceable as written. Nice gesture that I ask for your ID. but I donāt care. Since that was the signature, literally writing āCIDā etc is āthe signatureā. Just sign the card. I would compare that, but in 10 years of retail, I never denied a card.
I would compliment the Chinese and Japanese cardholders who signed in their language because if you could forge that? I donāt even care.
Other than that? No retail worker cares what happens to your card as long as itās approved. Iām sorry you had your card stolen, but if itās approved for $600, $1200, congrats! You win.
Why are there no adult social platforms anymore? Sorry, but unless Threads gets a completely separate TOS, it's Facebook wearing Twitter's skin. Twitter really went down the toilet when Musk bought it and wasn't that great before, but at least it was guaranteed to be mostly adults.
Musk is trying to make twitter profitable which it wasn't under the other owners and probably still isn't. He wanted to stop data scrapers that's why the limits are in place but should be removed. The people who are loving threads will soon be back on twitter. But who knows what will happen.
I know the whole Threads/Twitter/Social Media BS of the day is important, but… it felt disorganized, and I'm here for the rambling commentary. Maybe I'm just tired of the BS of social media. Advantage of watching after live is you can scroll past the topics, I guess.
