Finally upgrading from my Echo Dot. Sort of excited because I’m deep in Apples ecosystem.
I think I will stick with my Alexa Dot 4th generation. The sound it gives is flooring. Deep bass, clear vocals.

Amazon echo is better if you have Amazon prime. With Amazon prime you get a lot of free music and tv shows with Amazon music and video. Plus Siri is dumb compared to Amazon Alexa or Google assistant. With apple you need a Spotify account to get music. The free Spotify account has a lot of annoying ads. Apple has ease of use benefits, (I’m writhing this on a iPad), but it usually costs more. You get what you pay for I guess.
Unless you can plany ANY music or app on your device to this unit its useless. I remember the First Homepod being limited to certain apps and Apple music only.
