Over the past few weeks, I ran various drain and charging tests on all of Apple’s new iPhone 14 models and spent time using each to determine what you can expect in terms of battery life. Here are my findings.

I’ve recently gotten a 14pro after having my 14pro max stolen and im so disappointed with the battery.
imagine the i phone 6 battery life. Goes from 100% to 50% in an hour
I just got an iPhone 14 pro , and the battery didn’t last all day. Maybe I’ve got something running in the background or mine is defective?
The 14 plus battery life is crazy
A battery revolution should come sooner than later.
My Iphone 12 Pro is at 80% and I constantly have to charge it multiple times throughout the day.
Batteries that last waaay longer and doesn’t drain to fast because of heat would be nice.
And if they could be charged really quick too.
After updating to iOS 16.1 the battery life on my 14pro is so much better.
I went from the 13 pro max to the 14 pro max . I haven’t had the 14 pro max a full week the battery drain’s really fast I don’t stream movies, nor do I play games the phone goes from 100% to 32 % in less then 6 hrs vs my iPhone 13 Pro Max my battery life would last 2 days before it needed a change and really it didn’t because it would have a battery life of 52 % which was excellent. I have apple care on my 14 iPhone Pro Max Apple care had me to take it to a retail store to look at the problem. I told the person my phone was completely charged at 1pm by 4pm for my appt with Geek Squad it had a battery life of 52% upon them troubleshooting the problem for the battery , my battery life was reading 52% on screen display but when they went to the settings in battery it was showing the battery was at 100% … They couldn’t figure out what was the problem for my battery draining so fast .. One thing for sure that I do know this 14 Pro Max is going back to Apple . Also my 14Pro Max will not connect my Series 8 watch to my cellular data….
I went from a 13 Pro to a 14 Pro max. I’ve noticed the battery life is much better.

I hav the iPhone XR and after updating to iOS 16 I didn’t notice any battery problem
My iPhone 14 Pro with the always on display won’t last until 5pm. I’m a heavy user , if I turn off always on it will last the whole day having to change again around 9pm . But I was hoping for better battery life not really happy with it, I hope it improves with a new software update !

thanks for the video but some comparison do not make any sense because battery life of the iPhone never has been linear when draining.

My battery health was 100% but after a few weeks with Ios 16, I lost 2% of my battery health.
Don't update to Ios 16 it will kill your battery life so quick, how is that possible to lose 2% in just 3-4 weeks with much less use than I used to.
1 thing? A phone that doesn’t overheat in the sun .
I have the 14 Pro with always on display enabled, and I use my phone a lot. The battery life is amazing!

reg 13 pro battery life been great. not power user so can easily get almost 2 days out of it. 97% capacity currently
I went from a IPhone XR to the 14 and my battery has been fantastic
iPhone 14 plus here and battery life is close to 30 hours on a single charge on heavy usage

charging is so fast on my s22 that i dont see how you can have a problem with battery on latest phones. and having 10k power bank in backpack is pretty easy
I have a 14 promax running IOS 16 And the battery drain is really bad. I was running 16 on my 13 promax and it wasn't this bad.

My 13 Pro Max on IOS16.0.2 is still getting 12-16 hours of screen on time on a single charge. Disabled 5G, turned off backgroud app refresh for apps that didnt need it, and leave screen brightness below 50% most the time. Still blown away with how long it lasts compared to everything else.
When you compared iPhone 14 series with iPhone 13 series, did you have all phones on the same version of iOS 16?
A lot of people are saying iOS 16 is the culprit so want to know if it’s an Apples to Apples comparison

The video on airplane mode tests – are the iPhone 13 numbers last year results or reran this year with iOS 16 results? Aka is iOS 16 partly to blame for the iPhone 14 shorter battery life?

I have a iphone 13 pro max and my battery health is 97% but dies after 9 hours and I use standby alot with the screen off.
Apple needs to raise the max charging speeds on their phone. Max charging speed should be 45W.
iPhone 14 Pro Max user here, and with my use, I was able to make it 12 hours with the battery on this phone, and I probably could have used it for another hour more or so. The battery life on here is amazing.

Let’s hope IPhone 15 improves on battery life. They usually focus on every other year for battery. This year obviously they didn’t. 11 series was great, 12 sucked, 13 series was amazing, 14 series sucked. Hoping next year they up it
I read that that the iPhone 13 series has worse battery life after updating to iOS 16. So, would like to see a retest of an iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 16 vs the 14 Pro Max.
