How about actually showing the view of the cameras live? A lot of talk here with no illustrations.
The next IQ was so much better night vision was amazing on the IQ and I can’t find them anywhere.
The Outdoor Nest Camera video playback is sporadic AND no longer "flows" smoothly (It used to a few years ago) – SO choppy AND at time just "freezes"….I CANT FIND ANYWHERE where to fix this. (My wifi is TOP notch "the best" SO, it's NOT that) What say YOU?
Thanks for your video. I have a question about the Nest Cam with Floodlight. Do you think you could connect it with a regular cord without a separate junction box?
I found out that Google once posted an installation video for the Nest Cam with Floodlight, which isn't available now. This is the description in the video. Does this description tell if it requires a junction box?
“The Nest Cam with Floodlight is designed to replace an existing floodlight with a wired connection of 100 to 240 volts ac, 50 to 60 hertz. Install in accordance with local building and installation regulations. New installations may require additional hardware. You may need to hire a qualified professional to help with installation.”
i tried to give nest a second try . I'll be returning it this weekend and either going back to ring or trying ubiquiti, if they ever get there stuff in stock.
One of the main things people want to know is how laggy it is when someone uses the doorbell and for it to show up on a nest hub. Or how long it takes to show the doorbells view when asking Google assistant. That for me is a deal breaker if they have not improved that . Nobody seems to cover it in reviews though
Really? 5 min talking just to say these were the 4 products? You literally added no more information! You took 5 min to say only sth that could be said in 20 sec tops!
So do these do people and facial recognition similar to IQ or not? The fact that it detects a person vs movement was a HUGE plus for my uses. I have tons of landscaping, lots of wildlife… movement happens all the time. I don't need alerts all day and night if it's not human and even better if it scrutinizes who the person is.
from what I understand the only incentive google has for not implementing a subscription is that the recorded footage is being used to train their AI
Does Google Nest have Alert Alarm hub like Ring does?
Wyze
How do you guys not talk about these cameras not being compatible with Amazon Alexa know? That is the biggest news out of everything
No built in Google Assistant?!???
Wow 3 hours of storage! So much! Just kidding, this is terrible and an insult.
Why do these reviewers always have to say what they will talk about in this video. Just talk!!!!! Start with the review!!! I’m not getting any younger! I’m most excited for the outdoor cam but looks like it won’t be able to record 24/7 like the previous outdoor cam if it’s battery only
I heard that the on board storage only is for power breakdown situations?
No 24/7 recording on doorbell is a miss
Is there gonna be a new IQ Outdoor cam? I don’t jump to get these off the IQ cam is gonna be updated!! The wireless doorbell is gonna happen tho!
Is google going to have a new iq outdoor camera
Don't let these tech companies in your house ….all they going to do is listen and watch to push ads
The problem I have with google products, Im always weary of Google just killing their products.
For that reason unless it is free, for cheap, or has a massive user base, I can't get into google products.
