    [3:20:58] Outro.
Sorry about the delay, had a blackout due to maintenance that lasted to 3 PM. WAN Show started at 5 AM, so that should give some context as to how long it took (Advantages of having only instant noodles – nothing is ruined!)

Side note: donations are on my channel's about page.

  2. I dont know about current sc1, but back in the day, when it was way more popular, maphacking was so common, i was playing UMS mostly, and when i got mh myself i noticed that basically everyone else has it as well…

  3. I think Ai npcs will be great in open world games. But the story important characters should be voice acted for real. Also Ai commentary in sport games would be a game changer to get rid of repeated lines that ruin the immersion

  4. The only useful anti-cheat is server side. Anything on the user system is something that can be circumvented since it's running on the user system, and it is invasive to the user.

  5. Linus needs a hot take button that puts a warning on a banner 😂😂

  6. I'm getting frustrated with product manufacturers who feel they need to slap the word AI on their product to make it sound up to date, it instantly makes me want to buy something else. I think you should make the 'AI powered screw driver'. Or make an AI plushy with sound effects that when you squeeze it blurts out hallucinations.

  7. Map hacking is still alive in StarCraft 2, unfortunately

  8. For baby monitor, I'd recommend an indoor camera like TP Link Tapo C220 – you can block outgoing connection except for NTP on the router/firewall level, it will only be accessible from your own home network.

  9. @Luke and Linus

Linus you commented on hardening the team for current economic conditions.

I have not professionally experienced a spending cut anywhere other than staffing.

Your team released audio of a senior leader making comments at an all hands meeting about a former employee that disgusted me.

There are five things in that sentence I have not experienced in any of the toxic jobs I took as a younging.

I highly appreciate your team's work.

I can also understand why any brand targeting anyone outside your core demographic might be extremely careful aligning with your brand.

I really do appreciate your content, but as some one slightly outside your key demographic I hope you can understand why I now only religiously watch the WAN show.

That said, you have a 100m company. You clearly have excellent judgement. Please keep using it 😊

  10. There’s a big reason the video game industry, the film industry, television industry and music industry are having a hard time. They’re all just pushing huge turds and lots of them. Less is more.

  11. It's like people and corporations are trying to see just how much they can get away with rather than being afraid of the repurcussions

  12. I don’t think the MSI AI is cheating. It’s an extension to higher HZ and resolution and messing with color settings and having better kb&m or higher fps, so if those are allowed, it’s fair game.

  13. I think the only way for Twitch to get profitable is to add a charge for users to watch unsubscribed channels/month for say over 10hrs viewing (even a nominal $2.50 and regional adjustments) otherwise it will die eventually.

  14. 'If you can cheat, cheat. ' I live in Taiwan. This phrase is considered smart, not unethical.

  15. That ebay penalty of 3 Mil, considering it went right to the top of the company, should have had at least 1 more zero added to it. Probably 2.

  16. Ebay sounds like my kinda of company!

  17. 2:18:24 "stock price" got me good.

  18. Linus's casual mention of "The Palace" brought up some old, long-buried memories.
I was on CompuServe before that, spending most of my time in the RPG "portal." Think I moved over to the Palace when we went to AOL.

  19. At 2:47:50 ish when he's talking about meeting people u gotta keep in mind many of those awkward people also may view as something of an idol. Not obsessively but just the in the sense that they watch u almost everyday

  20. 1:48:40 why not install the chip in a ring?!??

  21. I bleeping love the irreverence. Please never stop.

  22. Hey so I love your guys show. I was just curious when do you upload to Spotify?

  23. Can confirm the sheer volume of new games just fatigues me so much, I'll just keep playing older titles forever I guess xD

  24. You guys serious look like you're saluting the third Reich in the thumbnail. Good job .

  25. If it free to access to anyone with a browser and you don't copy it… What is the merit of alleging copyright abuse? Using text to train a neural network isn't copying and distributing. It is akin to learning or reading by a human. Though using a biased source like NYT is not exactly a great idea as it introduces a lot of bias on the system. Bad bias.

  26. I wouldn't say the Wicked Cushions were easy to install… But I did install them eventually

  27. There is actually a case where you can force a company to sell there IP and have the court decide on payment, but this ain't it chief.

  28. All I know is ChatGPT seems pretty useless after the January 2022 update.

  29. Wanted to chime in on the Bible comment during the segment in 1:45:20.
Many Christians misrepresent the meaning and signifcance behind the number and mark of Beast referred to in the book of Revelations. The Mark of the Beast being on the hands and forehead does not speak to anything concerning RFIDs (though you should think more carefully about what you put into your body), but is a callback to the foundation of Jewish faith, the Shema Israel, specifically Deut 6:6-8, where it is commanded to have God's commands "binded as symbols on your hands and to your foreheads", aka what you do and how you think.
Basically it is a warning that the world will force you to follow its commands and not God's, not anything about technology that the author would have known nothing about.

  30. Man one thing I never get is why companies make so many products like make just 3 or 4 products but make them good, good enough for their price bracket and make sure no one comes near them, everyone then will come back to you for the upgrade. I mean, what is the reason to make 10 bad products which sells less and is not good in their price bracket.🤬

  31. So OpenAI might have used their models to form their defense, but using copyrighted materials so their defense itself is suspect of being piracy of law materials lol

  32. it is exciting times, but there is still tom foolery, but games will become better, vr arcades are the way to go, mixing the 80s into the 2000s with george lucas, not disney.

  33. AI may be no different than youtube captions, thats scary AI cant differentiate truth or be excatly precise with words, refill or relate may be the word rifle while in translation as a analogy

  34. your honor my client pleads "nuh-uh"

  35. Yall over here talking about 27" monitors and im over here thinking im gaming on An 85" TV maybe I'm doing something wrong

  36. Mac Adress is perfect the way it is

  37. 1:27:501:28:10 😂😂 i knew the games industry was strugglin' with 'blow' but I didn't I did know the situation was this dire😂 I'm just joking around don't shadow ban me daddy Linus 😅😂

  38. Does Linus know they added aim assist to mouse and keyboard on halo infinite and might be over hyping the 360 hz monitor. Like it's cool but he did say "I couldn't miss"

  39. Why are they pretending the streak is still going? There was no WAN show on the 18th August!

  40. Stop acting like monitoring the minimap is a big deal sheesh

  41. How about the fact that open AI isn't reproducing copywritten work so therefore the case needs thrown out

  42. To the wan show😂

  43. 1:52:00 sounds more like Scientology
    Is eBay a cult?

  44. I kept hearing Linus say Wicked Christians, instead of wicked cushions. I thought that was a weird sponsor.

  45. In regards to Windows Server and AM4 I HAVE an AM4 5950X Windows Server in deployment and its perfectly fine – just use the Windows 10/11 drivers.

  46. That Rabbit AI thingamajingy looks cool?! I've never felt so out of touch with Luke than from hearing this comment… It's atrocious, and there is zero reason why it wouldn't be an app.
