We have a TON of infrastructure and networking upgrades in the pipeline, but the first step was to both upgrade and correct some serious flaws in our networking. As is, a single failure could bring down our entire network for all three buildings. Today we fix that by building out a redundant high availability core switching setup with the help of Dell EMC’s S5232F-ON 32 Port 100G switches, and a bunch of gear from InfiniteCables, Ubiquiti, and Hammond Manufacturing!

Deals for Days. Big home savings are happening now.
As a data center cable tech all I can say is "MY EYES" to that one rack.
Why does i look like Dan has done some crazy dr*gs??
You said 2GB for 10$/Month!?!?
WTF
I get 40GB high-speed 4G+ for 8β¬/Month or 70GB for 10β¬/month if I ever need more.
If I exceed my limit, I still have unlimited data, it simply isn't high speed anymore, it becomes very slow.
Those switches are nice… But even those price tags are a bit rich for our Core Team at my university.
Also, my solution would be holes and mounting the powerstrips on the outside of the case. Would not of made a good video thonand it couldnt be written off by the taxman π
Bigger , I think not. We are all on the internet π
Please create a buyers guide from the most potato (the cheapest) new build PC with all new Parts. All of the parts must not be discontinued by their manufacturers.
Maybe get a Starlink at the other building for the backup Internet?
Nice short patch cables
Need some! Brand? Type? Amazon link?
these racks look beautiful at the company i work we have 10 Racks i think 2m high each and if you open the door to the serverroom cables will fall through the door.
"He made a number two…" π
Shawn looks like he is the dad of Ameer Atari from epic meal time
Hey LTT, your content is amazing as always.
I see you got several unifi and these dell net devices, for a company this size wouldn't be worth going with Arista or even Cisco?
i just love Dan's concerned face in every second shot π
4:38 Dans face is priceless
5:23 too
You don't have to pay the full rate for duplicate connections. Negotiate for a cheaper rate for the hot spare, and set BGP to prefer the primary.
Regarding networki, could you share some details about the Framework company and topic about RANSOMWARE?

The infrastructure videos are my absolute favourite!
Banger video.
Only notes: with it was longer and more parts
There's so many department and separate spaces in Linus's company that switching to spine-leaf architecture with VXLAN EVPN overlay makes sense.
Weird flex but ok linus
Simple stacking made in 30min video.. i am surprised you did used stacking already
COMPENSATING haha

Its not bigger than mine. I have an ISP. π
Me over here being like, "I've got this cool 1Gbps PoE switch I got second hand from work. Hope I can reset the thing and plug in my two computers and a server to it, when I'm not being lazy."
